Really really like the format. Dark Sky is the default source, but with the subscription you can choose from several other sources (i.e. TWC, Accuweather, etc). Plus with paid you get Radar. Because I love the format I gave it a try and made the purchase. With the ability to change sources, you can use what works best for you in your area. No regrets here. Very happy with it! Only thing I would like is to see pollen levels, but almost everyone will want something added/changed and than we would lose the great format by having too much. P.S. Switching left to right screens (swipe) should be more responsive, but still love it!!!

The design is beautiful and uncluttered since there are no ads. I checked out several weather apps in a day and this was my favorite by far. I appreciate being able to change the source of the weather information. You can also choose the colors of the app icon on your home screen to make it easier to find, which is great since so many apps use the same color schemes and look similar. I also love the night mode of the app, which automatically shifts the color theme to be darker and easier on your eyes in the evenings. I do wish the (paid) fan club came with a few more more perks or was a one time purchase instead of a subscription. I purchased the subscription because I am happy to support the lovely app once, but If there aren’t more things added to the app by the time my annual subscription ends, I will probably not pay for an additional year.

Nice, clean and straightforward UI. Accuracy seems pretty consistent, however...the accuracy lately has been off. Weather Channel source reporting the current day as 55F with 17-27 inches of snow...obviously way off. The previous version where the fonts were smaller were more ascetically appealing, as more info. was shown on your screen. Now you have to scroll down a bit to see everything. Would be nice to see an option to adjust font size. Overall though, this is my favorite weather app from most of the popular ones on the App Store.

The App feels right at home on iOS 11. No ads, clean UI. Only wish there were even better app icon options for the fan club. They’re really not my cup of tea — any of them. Perhaps have some options that mimic your weather condition icons. Those icons are much more polished imo. Overall, worthy of my home screen.

This is a nice looking weather app that provides a the forecast in simple terms. There’s a few improvements I would like to see. First I don’t like the horizontal line under the location at the top of the screen. This ruins the clean design look in my opinion. I’d rather extra white space below it or just make it scroll with the rest of the forecast (I think it’s unnecessary to always be at the top). Second, while I like the use of color, it’s not always clear what the colors represent when there is both an up and down bar. Third the weather advisory button, while it should be prominent, stands out too much and detracts from the design. I’d rather a white button with border like the source button (but make the source button just text and no button). Lastly, I’d like notifications of weather warnings.
  • Great app, but need some improvements

This is a simple, elegant, and super nice weather app. I love the design, probably the best design for weather app I have ever seen. I can switch between five reliable forecast data source, which gives me the opportunity to decide the most accurate one and continue use it. Overall, it’s the app that I definitely love to use every day. I payed for one year membership. I would like to see the developer use our support to make the app even better. Maybe add some features like weather condition and precipitation per hour, air quality index etc. Also, it needs some improvements on radar. I only gave 4 stars because I want these features ASAP. I will recommend this amazing app to everyone. If you are still looking for an beautiful and reliable weather app, this is the one!!!
  • Amazing UI Design...

...but poor interaction design (swiping should be responsive and the app should respond in real time rather than wait for swipe and then respond; when using tab bar people expect to switch the view rather than open a modal (e.g. settings and location)), the Today widget could be more useful and display weather prediction by hour and when the app is loading it should at least remember last weather info instead of a blank screen with a spinner. Nonetheless I have subscribed to support development of the app and hoping for the improvements to interaction design - then the app will be almost perfect. 😊
