  • This game is horrible!

Do not waste any time or money on this game! I played for three years, leveled to 102, and bought a new phone. They refused to help me restored the game. They first gave excuses that it was a security issue, then when I sent them the app download receipt from apple, with a receipt number and all, a pic of my IME from my old and new phone, and well as other information, they then came up with more excuses, and then Fernando from Scopely decided to rudely tell me our conversation was unproductive and was closing my ticket. If I could only add a screen shot, to show all how unhelpful and unprofessional they’re customer service/support team is. I’m not wasting another moment on this game or company!

After 3 years playing this game, the ability to switch regions has resulted in rich play to win players moving to regions with folks who can’t or won’t pay, and reap the benefits. With the league system as it is, Scopely has all but destroyed the territory system that allowed for rewards for players who can’t pay to win. Either put the pay to win folks in their own regions, Scopely, or I will stop giving you greedy thieves my business
  • Something nice when there’s nothing to do

I love the walking dead. This app is a good thing to exist and collecting all the characters is exciting. The pay-2-win aspect is annoying but I get it. The story is quite awful and I have no interest in it. But the app still manages to be some sort of mind-numbingly satisfying that I can’t exactly explain. If you’re into the television series maybe don’t get it. Comic oriented by far. Also don’t spend money on this thing. Download it if there’s room on your phone but don’t delete any pictures to make room for it.

I have been doing a good amount of offers and I have completed them but I have not been rewarded my tokens.
  • Fun... but a lil Pay to Win?

The characters are broken and you can be the same level, but if someone buys currency then they can get these buuku strong people that can take all your hard earned characters down with one person. I mean it’s infuriating when you can’t buy stuff or don’t because you have real world things to worry about, but if you do then you dominate people. The game IS fun don’t get me wrong but the whole coins as currency to get the Over Powered characters is near impossible to earn. So it’s worth the play, don’t count on going far in PvP.
  • Game is repetitive . Scopely is the worst ever

Game was fun game. Scopely is greedy. Game glitches out numerous times and they refuse to replace anything. Just check the known issues section under customer support. Some of these things are 3 years old. They don't care to fix anything just get you to spend more money on their new 6* all time spent on previous toons was a waste. They literally hand out new toons which makes the f2p player teams virtually identical. Plan on a solo level up every day and stupid tournaments that last 24 hours that you will play again in 3 days. Used to be able to look forward to a tournament or war. Now it's... well, another level up and raid tournament. Scopely is horrible. Customer service are autoreply bots don't expect to have any service.

This game is really addicting lol. I can’t break away and I actually spent real money on it even tho it’s free.. the only thing I feel that could make this game better is if they add characters from Fear The Walking Dead! I would love to have Nick, Alicia & Madison on my team!

The game is actually fun, but they claim to be free to play which is true but to to be competitive in this game you must pay. And when you pay you only have a small chance of getting useable characters. You must be willing to pay and gamble to even be relevant in game. Yes if you wait months and months you can have a chance at a free pull for good toons, but you will more than likely be disappointed.

I have been playing this game for a little less than a month and have spent maybe 10 whole dollars on it and I am now number four in the gold league for my region. And depending on what has happened since the last time I looked at least in the top 20 for survival Road for the same. I bring this up because all of the people who are whingeing about how you can’t get anywhere unless you pay lots and lots of money are FOS. I will let you figure out that acronym. You don’t have to pay to play with this one you just have to play smart. A little money doesn’t hurt but based on the gameplay I have experienced it isn’t necessary either. And I say this as someone in the industry that works for a competitor that thinks they found a better balance In between rewarding the people who pay and thus pay their salaries and letting the people without money play and still enjoy it. It is a good game. That I got sucked into because one of my kids said oh you’ll like this one even though I hated the TV show but he knew I like the comics and he was right. Give it a shot. No one is making you spend money… So play it without doing that and see
