  • Great, but.....

    By Peachtree945
I switched from Weight Watchers to this app. Their App is similar, but much better with portion identification. So far, there are only two things I have questions about. How can I create a meal for something I eat every day? It’s a pain to have to recreate it each day. Also, like I said above, portion ID. I would love to see additional portions, like slices; per cookie; tsp; Tbs; pieces, that sort of thing. We need more options. I do love the app and the help that it is.
  • Motivation

Only this app has kept me so motivated, if you have the will you will do it! If not, it’s yourself that’s gonna keep you from being where you want to be.
  • Needs a much larger food database!

    By Sports49er
I was using MyFitnessPal for years and thought I’d try this because I don’t want to just know the calories, but also want to know the quality of the food that matches my goals. This seemed like the perfect fit at first. As I have been using it (in USA) I have found the food database to be woefully lacking. It has nothing to do with barcodes or barcode reader, the foods aren’t in the database. Some very common foods from any chain restaurant are missing. I have to add almost EVERY item manually. That’s a non-starter after having used MyFitnessPal and never having this issue. Like other comments, everything seems to be listed as a 1 ounce serving size. Not very helpful when dealing with grapes, avocados, etc. The app has great potential, but too labor intensive to get the information into the app. I’ll keep looking for an app like MyFitnessPal that has the food quality ratings like this one if it exists.

    Excellent app. Very helpful
  • Great but add more food

    By Peach617
It takes a little while to get used to (~2 weeks), but awesome and super useful for having a better count of what you’re consuming. I’ve made progress towards my goal weight after two weeks, and feel good about it. Getting used to it can be frustrating, but totally worth it. Could use a larger and better organized dictionary of food to choose from.

  • Nutrition data is funky

    By Runnersal
I’m enjoying this app because it makes me accountable and helps with food tracking. However, the nutrition data seems off. Homemade scrambled eggs shows up as a processed food; yogurt is high in salt? And the default portion size seems to be 1oz, which doesn’t relate to many foods. I’ve yet to scan a barcode and find the food already in the database, so there is a lot of laborious manual entry. I eat a diverse range of food so that could continue for some time. Still, if I ignore the data details I still find that using the app is a great discipline.
  • Unnessarily Complex

Too many unneeded ideas... no direct food calorie count. Useless for my purposes.
  • bar code scanner useless

    By Zzzzzzzzzzzzz46788/1?)&@@)/
by far the worst calorie counter app i’ve used, after a week not one of the barcodes that i’ve scanned has turned up in the system making me enter everything manually. and half the time when i try to enter something manually it gives me an error message. definitely would not recommend
  • More recipes would make it a 5 star
