I have tried all of the major News apps out there and Reuters TV is by a distance the best one out there. The UI is beautiful and easy to understand. The content is very well curated and up to date. Well done on an excellent app.

Hard to use-sluggish, inflexible; go back to old 5, 15, 30 min format.

Reuters TV does it right, hands down! Reuters provides quick updates on the go with a clean easy UI that runs automatically if left alone. Yet, a menu is available for the user to interact with on news videos available at current time of viewing. Videos are provided in HD, and plays free of hiccups! Yes, the menu provides a short list of quick news highlights covering the world, but all important ones, which serves it purpose. I would not mind seeing a slightly longer list of news updates but, for now, I am pleased with the quality of the App, the real news and HD videos Reuters provide, that easily fits within a short break time. Thanks Reuters! P.S. Please, don't let the merger (in consideration now) water down the quality of news Reuters currently provide!

I don’t have a TV (don’t ask) so I want a free news app that provides live feed I can listen to while doing something. I don’t always have time to read articles. Sometimes manually selecting stories is inconvenient. I tried radio apps but am disappointed by the channels offered. The app’s description claims to provide live feed news (I hope it’s live) on my iPhone. (When I opened it I was able to select live.) This app is iPad compatible but all I get on my iPad are top headlines. I cannot select live feed. It announces the time but that’s all that’s “live” on my iPad. I pressed app support and it opened the app. Several times. I deleted the app and reinstalled it on my iPad. I opened the app and when I pressed start, the app closed. Three times. Again I deleted the app and reinstalled it. No live feed although the intro taunts me with the promise of live feed. Before I submitted this review, the live news feed on my iPhone ended. It’s been more than 45 minutes of silence. I know because I lost this review and am rewriting it between interruptions. I looked up the definition of “live feed” to be certain I understand the concept. I do. The CBS news app provides live feed. I’ll rely on it plus the CBS web site for live local news (when it’s not pausing indefinitely).
  • Short and to the point.

If anyone feels busy and can’t spend hours watching the news on tv, this is the app for you. There are no commercials. 15 minutes of perfectly in-depth news coverage. No messing around, no bolstered, over-analyzed commentating just the best news with expert insight. The new update needs a little work but I am impressed with the daily coverage. Very impressed.
  • Just get Reuters TV. You’ll thank me.

Reuters TV is not tv. It’s what television was supposed to be. Runs by itself, gives you all the information you need to operate in the 21st century, as quite attractive video OR EVEN BETTER as audio (It doesn’t assume you’re looking at the screen.) and then it stops and turns itself off. And you can tell it once how much time you have for news and it will remember your answer. Heaven.

It’s 3:27 PM EST on 01/13/18. I just tried to reinstall the app from my iCloud backup, and it says the app was no longer in the App Store. I hope Reuters will do something with Apple about this!
  • Excellent News, Terrible App

I have been getting my news via Reuters tv now for about 6 months. I had to abandon the app on my phone because it's constant freezing made it impossible to use. Although discovering that I could watch it on a web browser on my computer was a big relief. This is where I now view it. I recently started to use an amazon fire stick. I downloaded the app, and it still has all of the problems it had on my mobile device. I'd say it is actually worse. It freezes on the very first story now! Please fix this!!!
