  • What a hunk of garbage

I’m sure it’s intuitive to the folks who designed it, but this app is the absolute worst piece of software I’ve ever had to try and navigate through.

It started after iOS last update. App start screen freezes and nothing happens.
  • New update looks great but lots of bugs

Love the look and feel of the new update especially the changes made around smart home but the quick buttons for grouped lights don’t work for my z-wave Vivint controller lights. The WiFi lights in the group turn on and the lights all work when using my voice with my echo devices but for some reason, the quick button that appears on the group card doesn’t. Also using Alexa by voice in the app does not work on iPhone Xs. Also the app crashes randomly.

    1. There s no way to access existing devices to change wifi, password, etc 2. There is no way to set up a new device. 3. Still can not use lists or smarthome devices from different wifi networks

After the latest update, I can no longer browse amazon music. I’m using an iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 12. When I try to browse, I am greeted with “app support unavailable”. Junk.
  • Where is the volume control?

Volume too loud in a group? Sorry, there’s no obvious way to change it!
  • Not good

I’ve delt with the same issue many times. The app just closes or won’t bring up anything when I select it. Not useful when you can’t even use it. Needs updating
  • “No Network Available” unreliable app

I’ve used this app for quite some time now without issue but lately the app is causing me nothing but grief. Wether on WiFi or full service LTE the app will not reliably connect and will display “No Network Found” / “No Internet Connection”.
  • App is pointless now

Used to use the app to pause and change volume on any of our three devices when kids have fallen asleep or they can’t hear us. The playback control is GONE from the latest version. Now there is no reason at all to use the app. The app does almost nothing, and is one of the worst designed in the App Store. Already frustrated with Alexa after one year; this doesn’t help.
