Look out for the articles with a small sub header “Content by ...” as WaPo delivers advertisements to you alongside and very, very similar in appearance to journalistic pieces (even with a subscription).
  • Insightful journalism.

So many important stories written in an interesting manner that provide not only information but also insight into the issues of the day. Thank you.
  • A day late and a story short

The app is OK but the stories seem to run a day late and they certainly don’t include all of the important stories from the Washington Post
  • Great stories. Too bad the editing is so spotty.

I find it very distracting to be reading along and come across extra words, run on sentences, etc. I would think you could get a team of volunteers to supplement your editing staff - who must be overworked. Thank you. Carolyn
  • Pretty, but late

It’s 11am, and the most recent story was posted at 10pm yesterday. The app is pretty, and very readable, but the news is relatively old.

I enjoy reading the Washington Post to catch up on the national news on my phone or tablet daily and find that it is user friendly and it’s content is both professionally written and very interesting. There is a great choice of content that the public will find thoughtful and have a sophisticated style to it also. I forward articles to friends and family often because of the interest that it provides to me and my family. I appreciate the digital style so very much and feel that the design is very well thought out and form and function is great.
  • Incredible reporting; app layout could improve

Content is great and I will continue paying for a subscription to support quality journalism. But if you want to just browse the news headlines or you’re looking for something non-political, this app is not well set up for that.
  • Decent interface, but not stable on older devices

I have an older iPad and the app routinely crashes after reading a few articles the app crashes.
