  • “Previous Color” is bull

    By Quelf Munge Spaff
“Previous Color” only takes you back one color instead of going back one by one through every color you initially selected so good luck finding the same shade of blue you were using earlier. It’s such a common and easy feature amongst other apps and yet you manage to mess it up here. Basically means I can’t make a single mistake while drawing or else I’d have to restart the whole thing smh
  • It was okay before the update

    By LemonGrassyPop
I liked it before it updated but now it’s weird and I’m not used to it so it’s harder to use me and my cousin couldn’t figure out why the brush was acting the way was but I think it was because of the update it makes it really

I've never gotten along with drawing apps. They're always confusing, hard to use, and impossible if you don't have a stylus on hand. However, for the amount I paid, I'm highly satisfied with the ProCreate drawing app, and I plan to use it consistently from here on out. Not only is it fantastic for original digital art, but it's great for importing images of your traditional art and doing the linework and painting digitally. I can see how an artist with any level of experience would enjoy this app. While it took some time to get used to, it wasn't anything I had to go out of my way to search online for a solution. If there is something not so obvious for the new digital artist that I would note, is to make sure you use the layers function, as it really saved my a**. I mean hell, that's what it's there for da right? Another great feature of the app is the diversity of tools. I realize that there are probably far better programs and apps with a more wide range of functions and tools, however I found myself pleased with the customizability of the brushes, pencils, opacity, this that and the other. This being the case, I wasn't half as frustrated using it. My problem with these apps has always been "If you don't have a stylus, you're basically f**ked". However this wasn't the case for me. The zooming features and the ability to adjust the tools size and sensitivity to pressure really helped with my issue of always losing my stylus. I didn't need it as a necessity as much as I thought I might. All in all, I'm satisfied with the purchase I made, and it fits my specific intentions well. Would highly recommend.
  • Force quits

    By A-nemo-nous
I love this app, but it’s frustrating when I’m working on a piece and the app continuously force quits itself when I’m in the middle of working on something. I’ve had it force quit at least 4 times within an hour of working on a piece.

Although I would still prefer the old version, its not that bad. Easy to use (once you figure it out, which takes a while).
  • What happened?

    By BestArtistEver11
The colors won’t get brighter at all. The palette is broken and the colors can only be dark.
  • Amazing for lettering

I love this app and it’s so great for lettering. I used Procreate extensively to create the artwork for my recent book. Such a great investment.
  • My kingdom for a palette...

    By PlanningProcess
I love this app and the freedom it gives. There’s a lot to dig into but after awhile it becomes intuitive. However, the lack of a default palette is infuriating. I’m colorblind and I rely on a certain level of basics to go from. If I could ask for one thing, it would be a default palette to choose from.
