The Blaze and the Monster Machines app introduces preschoolers to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts as they race along pre-set courses or build their own tracks! Each mode encourages children to apply critical thinking skills and explore scientific principles, including acceleration, adhesion, force, traction, velocity, reflection, and more! GAME PLAY OPTION 1: RACE Start racing against Crusher and Starla right away in The Snowy Slopes, Badlands, or The Monster Dome! For more tracks and challenges, purchase up to four expansion locations, including: Light Riders (Pickle), Velocityville (Darington), Top of the World (Zeg), or Dragon Island (Stripes)! Each location in the game contains: • Environmental obstacles and Crusher-based contraptions • Power ups • 2 different driving controls – Tilt and Swipe • 15 levels that progress in difficulty (105 in total) • Gold, silver, or bronze medals awarded to each race GAME PLAY OPTION 2: BUILD YOUR OWN TRACK Construct a race track with as many twists and turns as you’d like! Bought this for my grandsons fifth birthday after he saw the add on tv. He was very disappointed that the track advertised required an additional purchase after paying $6.99 for the game. There are only a couple of tracks open for play. All the others also require additional purchase. Shame on you Nickelodeon! He really enjoyed what was open to him but finished it in a couple of hours.

This game was 7 dollars! And you only get 1 level, I wish I read the reviews first, and I hope this saves someone from wasting there money, every other level is 2 dollars more!!! For 7 dollars all levels should be unlocked! This is absolutely ridiculous! 0 stars for this reason!!

6.99 for a mediocre app, and then 1.99 more PER racetrack that are displayed along "unlocked" tracks so my son doesn't understand why he can't play them all. Neither can I for $6.99!!!! Nothing should be extra. total ripoff.
