    Almost perfect except for a few usability issues. The way you have to slide left or right on bottom section of the screen to change mode (full mode, power nap, etc) is not discoverable or easy to do on iPhone X sometimes it changes mode and sometimes it switches screen or switches to another app.

    I never pay for apps, but I decided for the first time that this one seemed worth the money. It has really neat features, but they don’t all seem to work for me. I set the smart alarm with a time range, but for the last 3 weeks, it’s been waking me up exactly when the alarm is set, not when I’m in light sleep. Additionally, it records my different types of sleep accurately only about 50% of the time. Half the time it says that an unusual amount of deep sleep was detected...despite me setting it the exact same way every night. I wear my watch and set it every night with my phone next to me with the alarm set, but it doesn’t always work, which is annoying, because I feel like I sacrifice a bit of comfort to get some sleep data, so when it ends up being useless data that I have to delete to avoid ruining my averages of accurate data, I’m unhappy about that...especially since I paid for this! I’d love to give this app a five star review, but it’s just not working for me. Could it be user error? I followed YouTube videos about this app to make sure I was using it correctly, but I’m still getting inaccurate data.

    I absolutely love this app. Buying the premium was a very good decision it’s so worth it. If I were you I would get this all right away. Pillow is the best sleep app ever. 😴🛌
  • My favorite sleep tracker

    I have a tried few different sleep trackers and this is by far my favorite. I love the sleep and alarm choices. My only complaint is that they use percentages for the sleep stages rather than the amount of time. Not a deal breaker as I haven’t found an app other than Fitbit that does provide that information, but I think the time would be more useful.

    OK, so the app is good and all, but I hate that you have to pay for premium pillow!!! There are audio recordings in the app, which I think is really cool, for when you were sleeping, and you have to pay for them!!!! I hate that!!!! Other than that, that was really cool lol

    I don’t use this app to wake up at an optimum time. I find it is inaccurate at determining the state of sleep I am experiencing. It insists that I take no less than 9 minutes to fall asleep, though each sleep study I have had shows that I can fall asleep much sooner. And when my wife prods me because I’m not responding to the alarm it still says that I was awake ten minutes before that. Whenever I tried to use the alarm feature it went to the end of the alarm window before sounding. Until the last update it would frequently record periods of wakefulness when I was certain I was asleep. And, it would also show me asleep when I had been awake. Then there’s the sound recording, which I set at medium. It picks up my wife coughing, a truck backing up, and a few other noises. That is probably an asset, as it might be helpful to track embarrassing noises which may be muffled from under the covers. Overall it gives a very crude estimate of how well you sleep. But, it cannot by any stretch of the imagination determine whether you are in REM sleep or deep sleep.

    I love this to see how I slept. The one thing I wish was fixed was the premium features because I want to know what caused me to wake up in the middle of the night but for $5! That is CRAZY

    I got the app to help me track my sleep patterns and what I thought was insomnia. Turns out I just have a later natural optimal sleep time than my husband. Now without the stress of worrying why I don’t fall right to sleep when he does, I naturally fall asleep when my body is ready and wake up refreshed. The calming music “Clair de Lune” to fall asleep/wake up to is amazing!
