If you want to temporarily put down your phone and focus on what’s more important in real life, you can plant a seed in Forest. As time goes by, this seed will gradually grow into a tree. However, if you cannot resist the temptation of using your phone and leave the app, your tree will wither. The sense of achievement and responsibility will encourage you to stay away from your phone, and will help you make better use of your time. Stop getting distracted by your phone, make you self-motivated and get more things done. Stay focused. Be present! STAY FOCUSED: • Function based on the Pomodoro technique (a.k.a. tomato timer, pomodoro timer) • Plant lovely trees and stay focused on what’s more important in real life. • Turn your focused moments into a lush forest. GET MOTIVATED • Earn rewards and unlock new tree species. • Share your forest and compete with friends and users around the world. • Plant trees along with friends & family. • Unlock achievements and earn extra rewards. • Plant real trees on Earth and protect the environment with tree-planting organization Trees for the Future. STATISTICS • Manage your own tags and view detailed statistics of your time distribution. • Browse your weekly, monthly and even your yearly big forest. • Track your focused time in Mindful Minutes of Apple Health App. • Track your daily phone usage and screen time. • Recall memories of your planting journey with our brand new Forest Timeline! NOTICE • Forest is an app available for both iPhone and iPad, and can be accessed across all iOS devices with a one-time purchase. To download or unlock non iOS version of Forest, this requires a separate purchase. However, by logging into the same account, the account data can be synchronized across all platforms. • Due to budget constraint, the number of real trees each user can plant is limited to five. We will be introducing limited time events that will allow users to plant more real trees. Please follow our social media page or check the in-app announcement for more updates. • There is only one version of Forest on the App Store. Other apps that are similar and mimics Forest are not developed by the Forest team. Thank you for your support! • Excellent!

No other words to describe it.
  • Great but limitations

    By Iluvmusic34567
Awesome app that helps you keep on track and can be a lot of fun. However, the only issue I have is there is a 5 tree limit to the donations you can make. From that point on the only thing you can do is just get points and virtual trees.
  • Perfect for Focus

    By dakotacarter
I love the concept of this app. It keeps me on track, and I find myself avoiding distractions on my phone—major problem with my and my ADHD—and spending more time studying, working on projects, and finishing stuff I’ve been trying to get done for weeks! Would recommend for any person who needs that extra push to sustain attention on tasks. The app let’s you set your own specific requirements (like if you need to work/focus using your phone) and with time let’s you plant your own tree. Love it!
  • Simple, helpful and fun

If you just need a little push to stay off your phone this app is a fun way to help. It does not prevent you for seeing a message pop up or the time, and you can quit anytime, but not wanting your cute tree get killed is surprisingly motivating! My kids will ask me to “grow a tree” at times like game night or in a restaurant, or I will tell my fam “I am growing a tree” when I need time to work.
  • Great Just one Issue

    By Tiffanypup11
This app is great! I started using it a year ago for school and it has helped me a ton since I’ve always been the procrastinating type. I never want to kill the cute little trees and always feel so proud after I’ve stayed focused for the time. I also love the option to take a couple minute break in between timers. It helps me calm down but not forget to get back to work.... However I have just ONE issue. The problem for me is I sometimes over estimate how much time I will need to get my work done. Usually it’s fine but on the rare occasion where I do finish early there is no way for me to stop it without killing the tree. I simply wish there was a way you could tell the app you completed your work and no longer need the timer without murdering an innocent tree.
  • iwatch app is not great

    By xiaoyuklily
When can you have a better iwatch app? I can’t set the timer on my iwatch forest app.

    By Kai....,
This is an amazing app and truly helps me stay off my phone while studying. But for the love of God please allow an efficient way to track the time spent on specific tasks over periods of time!! Ex. I spend time doing flash cards, spend time in lab, spend time reading ppt slides. If there was a way for me to track how much time I do each specific task over a weekly/monthly basis, I could take the average and then more accurately plan my schedule all because you input this little feature! Please take this into consideration and I’ll not only update my rating, but continue to support your business. Thank you!
  • I Love this app but...

    By Squidnugget12463
When I first got this app I loved it. I loved the concept of the pride and guilt surrounding growing (and killing) the trees as a motivation to keep working. It helped a lot until one day I gave in and changed the app. The tree did not die. I experimented and even tried closing the app and the tree just kept on growing. I still use the app and it works with me most of the time but I admit I might cheat for a few seconds and change the app every once and a while. I wish the tree automatically died instead of having to manually kill it when you want to quit. Is it just my phone that does this? Great app other than this one problem. It really helped me get my grades up and improve my time management.
  • Very cute

    By Maxine450
This is great and I hope the developer makes more extensions or a version with cute animals. How fun would that be?
  • Good app but inaccurate

    By mynicknamehah.
It’s good for keeping me off my phone while growing trees, but if you want something to keep stats on how much time you spend on the phone this is NOT it. It says I’ve only been on the phone 12 minutes today, and I know for a fact that that’s not true. It also underestimates the number of times you open your phone, because I counted. If it had this feature I’d give it 4 or 5 stars but the only OK thing about this is the tree incentive.
