  • Stop making new bots that cost real money!!!

    By Yo mamas baus
I love the game, but after this most recent update my desire to play has waned. The new robots and weapons are also almost impossible to get and they nerfed so many weapons such as (thunder, pin, tulumbus) and made new advanced robots I can't win anymore! Pixonic needs to make changes otherwise I will be done with this once great game.
  • Cool game, but it Crashes

  • Used to be great.

Used to be one of the 5 best ipad games over the past few years. Now, it is a falling star due to its greed and new pay-to-win structure. -2 stars for pay to win and -1 stars for poor customer service. $150, $80, and $80 for one of each of the new weapons. $225 and $300 price tags for the new robots. No longer can you spend a "moderate" amount ($400-500) to be competitive at the highest levels. Now, you must spend $3000 or more per year. $500 per year is actually quite expensive for a game considering you can spend $200 or less on high quality games. Note, Star Wars Battlefront 2 comes out in less than a month and the deluxe edition is $80. Battlefront 2 is a way superior game and it costs much less to play. I played the beta and I know how good that game will be when fully released. Back to War Robots. A korean bot with 3 scourges costs $225 plus $240 = $465. That doesn't account for upgrade times and costs. The newest bot cost $450 to equip it with the newest weapon. More bots will come out within the next year. A Haechi with 3 orkans costs $225 plus $25 in gold. Let's say you want to "max out" your hanger for $465, $450, $450, $250 and $250, that will cost you $1865 not including upgrade times and costs. This doesn't even include the cost of any new robots that will come out in the next year. So, you could realistically be spending $3000 plus just on robots and items. This doesn't even factor in the new update that was just released on Android. This new update allows bots and items to be upgrade to mk2 level, which means a lot more time and money devoted to upgrading. Mk2 items are 20 percent better, from what i hear, than their counterparts. Basically, this means bots and weapons go up to almost level 14 now because a normal upgrade increases a weapon's damage by 10 percent. So, a flat 20 percent increase is almost two levels higher. If you don't want to be competitive at a high level and just want to have fun, you can have plenty of fun spending no money or a "'moderate" amount of money in this game. It isn't all about winning or having the best bots or weapons. "Premium" at $10 per month is a good price. You can get by with some free or $25 bots (15,000 gold at $75 means you can get a 5000 gold bot for $25). If you grind for some gold, you can get a Doc for $25. The Butch can be bought for $75 or less.

I love this game I want everyone to play it
  • Needs a way to block people, stop being pay to play

    By Sophie26773389:
Needs a way to block offensive players and the pay to play is ridiculous. Need to be able to block certain maps too.
  • It's okay

    By Panda_022
Just started playing recently and it's fun but I noticed right off the bat that it's a pay to win game. Strategy doesn't mean much against players that have spent unnecessary amounts of money to max out their bots and weapons. It's fun for a little bit but do yourself a favor and keep your money in your pockets.
  • Best game ever love it

I wish there was a way to unequip all weapons from your robot in your hangar when you want to swap em out Next a personalized view of your weapons but hey one can dream it's a kickass game keep up the great work!!! UPDATE i've been with this game from the start now I think they're going to wrong direction there's way too many currencies I understand the game has to make money but where do you draw the line I mean come on now
  • $300 for a robot

    By Hk940
This was great game and still might be for the beginner but as you progress you must pay money if you want to continue to advance or succeed. Constant tweaking of weapons makes them priceless one day and then useless a month later. roulette wheel style bonuses are a waste of time and mis-matched teams often make play a slaughter for you or your opponent.
