Absolutely best app I’ve used. It works so well, and I just discovered I could add bookmarks! So why 4 stars instead of 5? Well 2 reasons: 1. I would love more pen options, I feel like this is really the only thing missing. 2. There are some awesome templates out there for this app and it would be cool if they recognized some of them and either posted links or made them available to purchase. It doesn’t have as many functions as OneNote, nor is it as quick to respond as apples note app. But it has more options than the apple note app and is quicker then onenote. Don’t forget you can edit PDFs! And add pics... and a lot of other things I forget it can do.... One last thing, my hand writing is TERRIBLE! And it’s text recognition and conversion gets it mostly “write”

I have been using this app for the past week and I love it. However, recently the PowerPoint documents have been downloading incorrectly and cut off part of the document. Is there anyway of fixing this? Thanks.
  • An App worth purchasing

GoodNotes changed my life! It’s an amazing app. However, it needs a couple for features. . . First off the app should have the ability to record lectures and turn it into text. Another one could be sharing a document with a peer and editing it in real time similar to google docs. Finally, the app really need more front covers. So, the app is good how it is right now but it can become even better. Thank you!

I am a teacher and have been using this app for over 5 years. It has been awesome to see its growth and enjoyed the changes they made to this wonderful app over the years. It has so many features and only fall short to apps like Notability in a few areas that I hope will be addressed in the coming update. More than anything, I want audio recording, subfolders, and notes side-by-side display. Aesthetics can wait. Thanks Goodnotes developers! 🙂

I love this app. I prefer it than notability. But there are a few things i really Wish this app had....Voice recordings!! I totally switch to notability when i need to record something important And some sort of protractor. Also....add More perfect Shapes please ! Perfect hexagons and pentagons !!

I honestly wish iOS notes were this good. Personally though I’d like to be able to have more cover options. Mostly though, I'd love the ability to add multiple blank pages to a notebook at once. Possibly when you create notebooks to add as many template pages as you want instead of having to add pages one at a time. Though it syncs with iCloud and my iOS notes are saved in icloud, when I tried to sync it with good notes it only pulls up my word processing files and not the more files. I look forward to see this app develop.
  • Love it!

I bought the other one but this one is just easier. It offers the covers for each category and just gives a feeling that you actually have journals. This electronic notebook is brilliant. I love the look, the easiness to copy, automatically saves on the drive you prefer. Excellent work on this app.

App is great for taking handwritten notes on my iPad with Apple Pencil, but best feature is integrated OCR capability which allows me to export notes as a PDF and view them as they were written plus search the text. Only drawback is an interface which requires too many steps for basic things like exporting to another app.
