  • Honestly one of the best delivery apps out there

    By AzRanger2
I didn’t find out about Doordash until a family member from Utah said it was so popular out there. I was skeptical about it at first but with the broad amount of restaurants u can choose it’s a great choice. I eat Mexican and I can have the best Mexican shop delivered to my work it’s amazing! The one thing I have a problem with is the feedback the 2 questions isn’t enough to fairly judge a driver and the food like my food was great just my driver ordered a big thing of guacamole instead of the free 2 oz cups. His customer service was phenomenal just that little mistake though so I’d like a more in depth feedback option because I would’ve gave him 4 stars the service 5 and the food 5 if I could.
  • Why do you exist?

I’ve placed 4 orders tonight, all of which were canceled once I ordered. If you claim to offer a service, you should back it up. What a waste of time. Good idea, but no substance.
  • Scammed

I spent $20 to wait for over an hour for my food that didn’t even come because the driver drove 20 minutes in the opposite direction and didn’t even pick up my order

Door dash advertises delivery within 45 mins. Placed an order and delivery said 41-51 mins. Tracker stayed at 41-51 mins for 40 mins and then jumped to 46-56 mins after already waiting 40 mins. Used chat to cancel my order with door dash. Had to fight with the agent to cancel my order and get a refund. Door dash would not credit my account with $14 worth of credits I lost due to the order that was canceled. I had to fight with door dash to get my refund and my credits refunded. Customers should not have to fight with door dash to get what is rightfully theirs. Can’t believe you have to fight with door dash to get your money and credits back.
  • Worthless customer support. False advertising

You won't get any credit on referrals, they will cook up some excuse why they will not give you credit. Customer support doesn't help at all. FALSE ADVERTISING. WORST APP EVER. DON'T USE IT.
  • Use literally any other app

    By Taytangerine
The #1 problem with DoorDash is that it will allow you to order when there aren’t any Dashers in the area. Every other app either doesn’t let you order until there will actually be someone around to deliver it OR they charge a crazy high fee to incentivize a driver to deliver it. So, needless to say you order something via DoorDash and it won’t update you in the app that your order won’t be picked up- it just continues to adjust the time later and later. Meanwhile, your food is sitting there and getting cold while you wait to get ahold of their customer service team. Which brings me to the next issue: they don’t employ enough customer service members, especially on the weekends. Chat will be completely unavailable (and they don’t provide any other means of contacting them) so you just have to keep checking in until you get lucky and chat is miraculously available again. Or you can google their customer service info and try calling, but good luck- you’ll sit on hold for 20 minutes and no one will ever pick up. Once you do actually get ahold of someone, they’ll eventually tell you no Dashers are in the area and offer to cancel the order for you. But they don’t actually have visibility to what Dashers are in the area, considering I was told there’s no one available to pick up my order and not 2 minutes into cancelling the order it had been picked up and was on its way. So then of course you want your food you’ve now been waiting two hours for. And they’ll call the Dasher to tell them to deliver your order. BUT WAIT! You don’t get bumped to the top of the list after they’ve messed literally every part of your order up. You get to wait ANOTHER HOUR before it will actually arrive and this time you can’t track it. Seriously, save yourself the hunger and annoyance and use another app. Please. Just do it. Oh, and DoorDash, you need to get your crap together, like yesterday.
  • Garbage

No communication - three bad experiences - add at least an hour to your wait - favor is so much better. I wish I could give them three 1 star referees for my last three experiences.
  • Ridiculous

Why show me restaurants for which I’m out of their delivery radius? I just tried to place orders for 4 different restaurants - one of which I have ordered from before - and each of them is mysteriously too far (they’re all 2 miles - really?!). This is probably one reason people prefer other delivery services.
  • Rip off!!!

    By jonj621
So ordered one day, total was $81 with the free supposedly delivery for first time use, one week later, called the restaurant and picked up meal, total of $55? They really charged $26 for the service! The menu prices where actually higher than the restaurants, total rip off, never using this service again.
