Our optional In-App purchase even sends you alerts when a boat you track sets sail or arrives - perfect for people with loved ones at sea, for tracking ferries and rescue vessels - or following cargo across the world! Boat Watch is a free app, which offers... * Spot any Boat or Ship via real-time AIS network * See the Name, Type and Destination of each vessel * Set any boat as a favorite, and track it on the map * Search and find boats and places * OpenSeaMap charts with buoys, lighthouses & shipping lanes Optional In-App Upgrade Purchases adds... * Full boat information - picture, speed, where its from, etc. * Show track for boat's journey * Set multiple favorite boats, to find them easily * Get alerts when a tracked boat arrives or departs * ActiveCaptain points of interest markers * Augmented reality. View a ship and see its name and details Boat Watch now gives you the option to buy official NOAA nautical charts for the US, so you get the same view of the ocean as the ship's navigator. See the shipping channels, buoys, lights and hazards and why a ship is taking a particular route. Boat Watch is a Universal app, which works on iPhone, iPod and iPad. Our ship coverage is global and amongst the best in the world. I paid for the fancy version, and I should have just stuck with the marine traffic free website.

This is the worst app I ever had! I purchased upgrade and it charged me says restore is successfully and never works. Even after Apple upgrade this morning. Nothing! The worst app I ever had!

I have used this previous years with success. This time it wasn’t working (there were no boats in off the coast of southern Florida), and so I figured I needed to purchase the offered 4.99 upgrade. Still no boats.

I have used this app happily for more than a year. Today it stopped, showing no ships even as I watched a car carrier moving up the Columbia river. Contact support? Nothing. I paid for an upgrade last year. Do they want an annual fee? A notice then would be helpful instead of a blank screen.

This app has no capabilities at all. It's merely a scam to get you to pay for the Pro version for $7.99, and who knows if that works?! Don't waste your time, effort or money. This thing could track a cork bobbing in a toilet!!!
  • Great app & support team

The app doesn't display any ships or boats for me. Is it the app or me, I don't know?
  • I didn’t order this

Still trying to get refund on this, looked at app and several others in app store. Now charge thirty bucks for something I don’t have boat to use with. One star for total frustration.

The free app is a waste and the paid App is a total waste - i AM sitting in the center of Gustavia Harbour and surrounded by the largest and most expensive one ----- and the App sees nothing Will try to get a cancellation on my credit card ....
  • Pay for features that used to be free

This is a fun app for those of us who enjoy Brooklyn Bridge Park and similar places dense with boats. Less fun is the way info about the boats used to be free but now costs $5.
