My husband and I have used Trend now for years, maybe 10-15 years, and have never been sorry for having it. Thank you and yes we have always had the paid full version.

  • Mobile Security gives WiFi alerts without explanation

“Feedback” takes you to a web-based User community. I’m not interested in giving feedback to the user community - I’m trying to give feedback to Trend Micro. Trying to “log in” to give the feedback just keeps going in an endless loop of Login, Join, and Authentication pages, each one opening yet another browsers window, but never allowing to actually post the issue/ feedback! Here’s the feedback that I have been spending WAY too much time trying to give: Mobile Security gives alerts as I move from place to place, stating something like “Issues with ”, but then no reference or detail as to why the “issues” are. That isn’t even remotely helpful. Some of these sites I could influence to resolve the issues, including my home WiFi, if I knew what they were and what needs to be done. How about providing meaningful information, and a convenient method for Feedback that doesn’t suppress feedback User Community post requests product version information, but product “About” does not allow copy/past of version information - why? • The adult content filter failed in 60 seconds

Test: I downloaded and set this up, set content shield on child setting, went to browser (edge in this case, but that does not matter), went to image search site and set site’s filter to off, typed in a type of adult content....let’s just say the fail was massive. I am using this for the ad block and malware protection, but I have to find a better solution to block adult content from devices because any 13 year old can get past this. Worse yet, there is no record I can find of the offending activity. Just as a note, the restrictions option native to the iPhone is terrible and gets in the way more than it helps, what is needed here is a 100% image blocker (video to) that allows a parent or monitor to whitelist image sources (I.e. iPhone photos, text if wanted, and images from particular web sites like Wikipedia or whatever).
  • My iPhone is totally protected, from now on wards I’ll using MSecurity app.

I love that it protects from unwanted sexual content and even secured my social media accounts for me as I direct it to. The lost/stolen locater feature is also handy. I’m liking the security features so far.

  • Disappointed

VPN didn’t respect the system settings for cellular access. Blew my plan as they let unwanted data run over cellular.

I bought the second generation I Pad Pro with a 12.9 screen as a Christmas present to myself. Best Buy gave me a 90 day free subscription to Trend, which I kept and I have been impressed. I was told for years Apples didn’t get infected, but more than once I had to reboot to keep stable. I would give it 5 if it was free.
