This app is probably the best to-do app I’ve seen, and it’s very effective and speedy in performance and overall tracking of your tasks. My only complaint is that the subscriptions are extremely expensive. A flat (and decent) payment would be more effective to get premium.
  • Great functionality.

Switched from Todoist. The import made it pretty painless and I’ve enjoyed better functionality.
  • Great App! Awesome Improving!

Update: the new UI is great! Very smooth and intuitive. I love Siri integration! Can’t wait for full Siri Shortcut integration! The calendar looks much better. Multi-line task adding & accessing detail view while adding a task is a great addition! I think I’ve tried most of the task apps in the App Store in search of this app! Most of the other apps I’ve tried have their own system or method they want me to use. This app is flexible enough that I can organize it how I want it, without having to learn a new method. I also love that I have the same experience on every device I use. The UI is very intuitive and looks great. Smart lists and folders are great. I also love the option to hid any of the pre-made list I don’t want to use. That alone was one of the reason I never stuck with Things 3. I like being able to see each list individually or all together. Also have the ability to sort each list differently is a great option. There are a few minor things I’d like to see changed, like some basic formatting options inside task notes. I also wish there was a sorting priority setting. For example: sort tasks by list then date. The calendar wasn’t a reason I originally get this app, but now I love using the month view. I do wish I could see event times in the month view, see past events & and add new events. If it could do that I would have no need for any other calendar apps. TickTick has already replaced 2 others apps I used, and I think one day it could replace my calendar app too. Overall, this is 90% of what I’ve been looking for. I’ve been using it for a month and I’m already a premium user. I lot of “apps” are switching to a service pricing model, but I have no problem paying for a “service” like TickTick. It’s more than just an app.
  • Great improvements

Recently went from 4 to 5 starts as I am very impressed with the stability, UX cleanup, and consistent addition of strong features that somehow don’t overwhelm the users screen. Amazing app
  • What I like about you...

Okay, I’ve bounced around between to do and calendar apps for almost a month now, trying to find the thing that is going to Fix My Life (and because it’s a way to procrastinate and feel like I’m doing something, kind of like this review). What seemed noticalby different about TickTick is the interface. Very pleasant. Minimalist, even. I love it, but it did mean a lot of poking and swiping to find where the buttons were stashed, but only at first. Now...I don’t know. All that white space. It’s weirdly peaceful. At least until my workday starts. The usual things are here: projects, tasks, tags, plus parsing of natural language, and it pulls from iCloud calendars, Google, and others. It also imported tasks seamlessly from Todoist, which was nice. Here are other things more specific to this app: Pros: + It’s a freemium app, and the free is pretty good. But with a monthly option on the subscription, I didn’t hesitate to try the bells and whistles. (FIguratively. Because minimalist.) + Sub-tasks that are actually sub-tasks, not just tasks intended under another task as a heading. + Smart folders with multiple ways to filter, which are essential to time blocking. (This is a premium feature, I think.) + Calendar right there in the app, with multiple views. + Somehow it feels simpler and cleaner to pull from just my iCloud calendars and Reminders. I don’t accidentally create an IFTTT loop and end up with 287 iterations of the same task (again). + The free version seemed pretty good...only I don’t remember the specifics, because I ponied up for premium pretty quickly. + There’s a Pomodoro-type timer/tracker built right into the app. I love that. The cons: - Subscription model, but that’s not unique. The price seems about in line with others, and I do like really like the app, so I’m glad to support it. - There’s less “out of the box” integration with other apps than the more well known to do apps, less IFTTT applets, Zaps, etc. But its integrated with Siri and so you can build shortcuts if that’s your thing. When I tried other apps with lots of zaps (heh), I found myself just imputing new events on my phone with Siri and applying labels/projects/etc. after the fact anyway. So if you’re wondering whether this will be The One Task App to Rule them All, it’s worth trying. It handles my Household, Personal, Work, and Side Hustle projects, lets me time block to work smarter. Your mileage may vary. But it’s a pleasant ride.

I’ve tried around 10 or 15 different calendar and to-do apps and so far this is the only one that had the features and intuitive design that I was looking for. It’s like a far better functioning (and looking) version of Apple reminders mixed with google calendar. One app for all of my scheduling and reminding needs; now all of the things that I have to do are in one place. It’s as simple as you’d like or as involved as you need it to be, and it’s a joy to use. Absolutely worth the money for premium. I love this app. PS: To the developers - the only changes that I would make would be to allow users to make sub tasks for sub tasks, allow an “admin” for collaborated lists, and to have the option to edit or delete just one instance of a recurring task, instead of only all of them. Other than these things so far this app is absolutely perfect.

I have been using this app for about two months and I must admit that I make my everyday schedule with its help.
