  • Medisafe

User friendliness is a big plus. Medisafe helped me stay on top of my medications at different times in different days. Also help me keep track of BP, weight, and other things that were needed.
  • Randomly missing reminders

    By In my free time!
I’ve used this app for a few years now without issues, but lately it’s randomly missing my reminders, like this morning’s 8:00 AM reminder which is prompting my review. Must be a recent update because I haven’t changed anything in a long time. Same times, meds, dosages. When I look in the app, the scheduled meds are there and waiting to be confirmed that they’ve been taken. Please look into this.
  • Love this application! Have suggestion!

This app keeps me sane, both literally and figuratively. The fact that I can remember to take all of my medications AND let my spouse remind me of I miss them is invaluable. Is there any way you could plug this app into Siri Shortcuts? I dream of being able to tell Siri “I took my pill” or ask “when is my next pill” and have it actually trigger a response provided by the app!
  • Skips days, doesn’t remind you randomly

    By PUDDLES119
Great idea for an app, terrible execution. It skips days, if you take a med too late, it’ll skip the next day, overall not impressed. Will find a better app.

This is a great app for people on the go. It reminds me every time and sends other reminders if you don’t respond. Great job!!
  • Always improving an already excellent app

    By Aimlessphotography
I won’t bother listing all the ways that this is an excellent app. It’s free, so use it and find out for yourself. It is very good for tracking your medicines and I highly recommend it for those with time-sensitive meds. Especially with habit-forming meds, tracking is of upmost importance. NEVER take your meds based on how you feel! That is how you end up taking too much, getting hooked, running out too soon, overdosing, etc. Apps like these should be required by doctors that prescribe “dangerous” meds. Maybe if more patients tracked there would be more compliance and the gov’t could stop making life increasingly difficult for legitimate patients!! Ooooooh, the specter of opioids is coming to murder all your loved ones!! Uh, no. Take your meds properly and behave yourself and you’ll have no problems. Self-discipline starts with self-knowledge, for which this app category excels. I know that of which I speak. I have suggestions, however. First, allow users to add an letter, symbol, or abbreviation to each pill icon. Alternatively, allow the pill box (AKA: Home, the daily list of scheduled meds) to list the names of the meds instead. For users of multiple medicines, it is difficult with the limited icon options (and the similarities between the appearance of so many medicines) to identify which pill is which in the schedule. I frequently have to touch each med to open it, just to determine what I’m looking at. Second, allow some sort of highlight for certain meds. I’m thinking red for narcotics, blue for life-saving, yellow for newish meds, etc. Too many colors would clutter things, but allowing users the option to, say, change the text color of certain meds would be helpful. For example, when I take an “as needed” medication I have to search through all my other schedules meds to see when I last took it. If I could highlight very important meds with colors or symbols it would simplify this task. Along with more text in the med schedule to enable easier med ID, highlights would make it a breeze to see when I took a pain pill that looks so much like 4 other pills I may have to take. Thank you for your work. Please continue to maintain this highly stable, very useful app!

I would recommend this app for anyone taking a lot of medication
  • Great app

Love using the app but it has its shortfalls. Up until I got my new phone the app worked fine. Now I am having problems scrolling on the app. I also take my meds at different times on my days off but I have no way to do that with this app. Other than that , it is a great app.
  • Does not alert

    By Sksjwhvwvans
There are no notification settings that actually ensure you take the medication. It’s no different than setting a reminder or calendar appointment. It should keep alerting you until you click “take” but there’s no feature for that
  • Would give 5 stars but

I take a lot of meds and sometimes I forget. I love the alerting if I forget and my wife love the medfriend option that alerts her if I do forget. My issues are: 1) sending a report. I put in an email address and it never changes the send button( it stays ghosted). 2) I love that you can match up the shape and color of your meds. However there is no option for meds(capsules) that are white on both sides with a stripe or double stripe in the center. 3) As needed medication don’t show up in your schedule. It would be helpful if it did so you could note if it was taken or not needed. That would really help my V.A. Doctors know my needs and weather or not to adjust them.
