Take a look at our screenshots for step by step instructions. When you're on a call and you want to record it, open TapeACall and press the record button. We will put your call on hold and dial our recording line. As soon as our line answers tap the merge button on your screen to create a 3 way call between your other caller and our recording line. If you want to record an outgoing call, just press the record button. The app will dial our recording line and will begin recording as soon as our line answers. Once that happens, tap the add call button on your screen, call the person you want to record, then press the merge button when they answer. —————————————————————— Can I download recordings to my computer? Yes, and we've made it extremely easy to do this. From inside the app you can attach the recording to an email and send it to yourself as an MP3, or you can click the share button and find a short URL that you can type into your computer's browser. —————————————————————— How many recordings can I make? As many as you want! We don't have a limit on the number of recordings you can make. —————————————————————— How long can a recording be? As long as you want! We don't have a limit on how long your recording can be. You can record for hours if you want. —————————————————————— TapeACall Lite is - and always will be - free to try. If you choose to upgrade to unlimited recording, you will be charged the monthly or yearly price, according to your country. The price will be shown for all packages in the app before you complete the payment. Your TapeACall unlimited recording subscription automatically renews every month or year, depending on the package you select, and your iTunes account will automatically be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off at any time, by going to your iTunes & App Store Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription. I wish there was an option for recording calls that are incoming without having to open the app and create a conference call.

I’m a journalism student. Used this for an interview. I used apple headphones to make the call and none of the conversation was recorded. Only static.

I read that it was free and started the download. I checked again and it is NOT FREE. There is a similar app that is free. I think the download is complete by now. I have not used it. Remove it immediately. I do not want to be charged. Thank you. Lynda Maenius

I have decided that maybe this app can come in handy as I am a single mother with the father who is immature at best. And $2.50 a month doesn’t seem so bad... especially when it comes to my son!

This app has locked me out. I want to discontinue but all I get is a message saying my email is wrong. There are so many updates that it’s almost unusable. I try to record a call and it requires re- signing in, which makes it completely useless. I want this app cancelled.
  • Free trial is nonexistent-DEV APPLE DIDN’T HELP-READ

****New Response to Dev**** Regarding your response to my review and the fact that I contacted Apple, I would like to let you know the Apple did not help whatsoever and I was still charged where you received money. I’m going to try this out and see what happens but I really wanted to keep this. We will see how it works and go from there but your answer no they did not help so how can you help? I knew one in time to cancel us because I make sure that I put in my phone as a reminder and I put it in the calendar, when it comes to free trials. Pre-trials are there to decide if people actually enjoy the app, which makes sense and also there’s probably some of the reason why you have so many downloads. The other reason would be because people like me get trapped into having to pay money for service they didn’t use or do not want, almost always referred to as some type of glitch. I don’t care what the reason is but I want my money back and then if your app works good enough you’ll receive my money regularly, a concept known as residual income not slamming the customer. ****Original Response**** When I first downloaded this app I was under the impression that it was a free trial for seven days and then I would be charged. I set a reminder in my phone to make sure that I canceled it and just in case I did not like it. I did cancel it before the trial was over but yet I was charged. I had to call Apple to figure it out because I cannot download anything. I would contact the developer but after such shady business, I can see that there would be no point. Save yourself the hassle and leave this app alone. By the way, it’s people like you that give developers a bad name because you actually end up stealing peoples money.
