  • The Best Audiobook & Podiobook App Ever

This is, without question, the very best app for locating and listening to audiobooks, podiobooks, and historic radio broadcasts. Nothing else I have tried even comes close. I recommend it without reservation. Inkstone also makes an app for locating free ebooks. Just as this is the finest audiobook app, the other is the ultimate app for finding and downloading ebooks. Every bibliophile should own both apps!

Mildred Wirt Benson’s books are good (free too). She wrote the early Nancy Drew series. Lots of great free books. Love anything written by Mark Twain. Incredible fun book. Overlook the n word please & remember Twain paid for African Americans to be educated. But, don’t use the n word today, even in rap or I’ll rap you. Thanks.

As a fan of old time radio, I am delighted to find an app with just about all available radio shows from the 1940s and beyond. Easy to navigate with superb sound quality. Well done.

Sometimes the readers have present voices but they read too fast so I have to abort please as them to slow down aa tad, so much one has to enjoy the words not have them run in to one another !

I like to listen to Old Time Radio mysteries and comedies. Audiobook HQ gives you access to near 80,000 radio shows on your tablet or smartphone. It functions well, never had a glitch. And, it's easy to use. You also get access to readings of classic literature and new offerings. All for free.

Loved the book. I had gotten away from this app because of the pricing but found this nice little nugget for free.

I absolutely despise LibriVox. What happens when you let anyone read, without compensation, is that quality control ceases to be a consideration. As a result, there are virtually no readers of any quality.
