You can see if your device is connected properly by checking under Settings. If Bluetooth is enabled on your device, this app will also collect your precise location information through beacon technology in order to improve your in-park experience, such as wait times. To facilitate the sign-in process, the app will also require access to your email address, stored within Account Manager. This app will request access to your camera to scan credit cards for purchases, link tickets and passes to your account, and scan and link PhotoPass cards. The app will request access to your external storage to cache certain data for offline browsing. The app will request access to your contacts to assign purchased PhotoPass images to your contacts.     So I live on the West Coast so of course got up at 4am to try to get FP’s and what do I encounter...Disney World’s site and app are both down! How frustration. I am disappointed as this is not what I would expect from Disney. Will get up at 4am again tomorrow to try for FP again. Hope this doesn’t happen again.
  • Exasperating!

    Difficult to use. The map function is TE RRI BLE! And besides that, I hate all the pop-ups constantly coming up trying to sell me another service that I couldn’t care less about. But the worst is the product experience: Navigating, flowing throught the App is just a nightmare. Finding out about wait times takes as much as just walking to each attraction and taking a look... 🙄

    Way way way to slow! I think u have too much going on or something. For this to be Disney made and something that’s so important to your time at the parks and hotels this is AWFUL!! Everyone I’ve spoken to says they have same problems, new phones old phones updated etc all slow!

    The load time is horrible. This app is almost unusable. There should not be maps on the home screen. That will speed up he load time. For all the physical infrastructure investment Disney fails to invest in technology.
  • Great Functionality- But issues

    The idea is fantastic - all your vacation planning in one spot, easy to book dining, fast passes, get wait times, see your photos. The execution of the app is a problem. The performance is poor even got things like scrolling down the page sometimes. Wait times sometimes don’t show up, and it crashes. This is a fantastic app that needs a technology upgrade!

    They want you to depend on this app, ok no problem love technology but......Middle of the morning and I was told system is going through enhancements! Guessing it could be a hardware problem and they just tell guests it’s going through enhancements, but really please don’t insult our intelligence, just say hardware problem. That’s as bad as saying a computer glitch, oh you mean a programming error! If not number 1 rule never do any updates/enhancements/changes during normal business hours! From an IT programmer/developer we had thousands of locations and NEVER had any system down/locked out/unavailable during normal business hours. Bad decision, very disappointing would have thought you had the best IT team $$$$ could buy. There is always a strategy that can be developed to avoid unavailability during normal business hours!
