  • Just call instead

    Had a ride scheduled for 6:15 AM. Trip was accepted at 5:49 AM, and went to completed after two minutes, with a $0.01 fare for no distance. Had to call, they denied anything was wrong (at 6:25) and said my driver was still coming. They ended up dispatching someone else at 6:35. Just call for a ride, the app is less than worthless.

    Good idea but poor implementation. First time to use today. Showed me at wrong location and couldn't change it in the app. Called driver to give correct address but he never showed. App showed him going to wrong location. Had to cancel and rebook. Would have been faster to call cab company directly.

    Very slow and unprofessional my driver almost got hit twice and asked if we can stop for gas when I was already running late.

    I waited for a taxi and it said 15 minutes for over an hour. No one ever came. The cab companies ran Lyft and Uber out of town so this is literally all they have. This company is a total joke.
  • App is a Joke compared to Uber

    App is a joke compared to Uber and Lyft. Yellow Cab does not guarantee pick up times, our scheduled cab arrived 20 minutes late, no realtime cab tracking, interface would look great in 2005 on windows mobile, but shows its age in 2015. Address search is lacking. When I called yellow cab to ask for status all a message would tell me is 'your request has been revived and a cab will be sent your way shortly'. Horrible customer service when I'm 20 minutes late to dinner on my anniversary. Luckily the app only crashed for me twice that evening. Just call, much better response times than using the app.

    This app is barely functional. It takes an unreasonable amount of time from when a booking is accepted until the time that the taxi actually starts moving toward the pickup location. I have had several bookings where my location is accurately depicted on the map shown to the driver in the taxi, yet the driver has passed my location because they are using separate navigation on a standalone GPS or their phone. What good is this app if the drivers can't find me? Also, several drivers either don't know how to accept the integrated app payment or pretend not to know so they can double charge or be paid in cash. This app and overall process of booking a cab needs improvement badly. :(

    I tried getting a cab after 3am and noting they don't even answer the phone they have the nerve to run uber out of town and I get very bad service and piss poor service every time
