I absolutely love this app! Has worked so well for not only for me in school, but my kids as well. Only thing I wish it would have is a way to add bullet points while making my Quizlet. Like notes on Word Docs. Quizlet, please make a way to add bullet points than it will be a 10 star!!!

So I have been using Quizlet for a few months now to help me memorize Chinese characters and so far I’ve loved it, it’s been an incredibly useful study tool. However, about a month or two ago I noticed that the ads in the app were becoming seemingly more prominent and slightly aggressive to where I’d see a banner at bottom of the screen not only just at app’s home page, but also when I’d be flipping through my flash cards trying to study (when I first start this did not happen). This was distracting and I wanted to get rid of them so I looked into Quizlet’s paid upgrade plans to go ad-free and what the prices were. I did this within the Quizlet app and when I did, it showed me that a Quizlet Go subscription would cost me $5.99, billed annually. I figured, well I use this app often enough that paying $5.99 a year isn’t so bad if it’s at least going to finally get rid of these distracting ads. So, I subscribed to Quizlet Go through the app, got the little prompt from the App Store about it being a subscription and so on, and I confirmed everything, paid the $5.99, got an email from Apple about the charge, and everything was all good, totally ad-free and I was happy. Everything was all good up until yesterday. Because yesterday I happened to be in my App Store account settings looking at my app subscriptions trying to cancel a subscription for a different app. After doing so, I curiously tapped on my Quizlet subscription to look at all the subscription plans/prices. And what I found was shocking. It showed the following subscription options: Quizlet Go (1 Year) — $1.99 Quizlet Go (1 Year) — $5.99 (what I paid) Quizlet Go (1 Year) — $11.99 Quizlet Plus (1 Year) — $19.99 Quizlet Teacher (1 Year) — $34.99 When I saw this I was just completely blown away... why are there cheaper and more expensive prices for the same exact Quizlet Go subscription that I had paid for? I looked at their website and I found that the price they advertise for a Quizlet Go subscription is $1.99...so why did my app show me a price that was $4 more than this when I went to go subscribe? Very, very, shady....not to mention too that I imagine some poor folks somewhere are being charged that $11.99 listed there for a subscription that is supposed to cost $1.99! And so of course naturally I wanted the cheaper price. And fortunately enough, when I tapped on the $1.99 option, the App Store said if I change to the cheaper option I’d be refunded the difference of the $5.99 I paid, minus the $1.99. And so I did this and a few days later I saw the refund on my credit card. However nonetheless I shouldn’t have had to do any of this and I should have been charged the same price as everyone else from the get-go. I imagine there are plenty of people who don’t notice this discrepancy and are being charged more expensive prices. So what gives, Quizlet? Why are you guys charging people different prices for the same exact subscriptions? Not cool. P.S. your latest update has a bug that now makes my Chinese characters’ font sizes on my flash cards change randomly to massive fonts, rendering studying impossible. Thanks.
  • Ok. There are ALOT of bugs

Whenever I try to do it it stops and it's not me type you just get all the stuff almost every single time it is it's really loud so that I can think of the people images of change
  • Good app for DLI students, especially Chinese.

    By No cuteness in update.
Two bugs but everything else is perfect 👏🏻. The first bug is that whenever my teacher goes and checks on who did quizlet and who didn’t those who used the app says they didn’t finish the set and I did it three times. Second bug is that mine is freezing up and is really annoying.
  • Apple Watch version?

I’ve never been a fan of flashcards to study. The tedious time it takes to develop meaningful cards is one of the reasons I’ve never liked them. However, I like this app and I feel that all the options it offers to practice/learn the information is quite awesome!!!! From playing games, learn, shuffle cards, etc... the app is fenomenal! The reason I only gave it 4 stars (IT IS A 5 STARS APP) is because it would be nice to have version for the Apple Watch! Something basic, but it would be very convenient!
  • Too bad

So now we have to pay for offline access. Nice👎👎

Quizlet’s newer updates of having definitions automatically suggested after typing in a word and being able to change the background themes are great. My only recommendations are being able to add pictures without having to pay extra (that’s ridiculous, come on; at least let us upload personal pictures or something), but my most important is to fix a glitch!! Whenever I go out of flash cards to edit my set and go back in, or Star a card, it moves ahead like 3-10 cards and I have to scroll backwards until I find where I previously was!! It’s extremely annoying! But other than this weird skip glitch on flash cards and not letting people upload pictures, the app is great.
  • Glitches

I love quizlet but the app glitches really bad when your trying to test yourself. Everything I try to pick my testing opinions it kicks off all options and says that you must have one form of testing style. Won’t let me get rid of the written category... 😠
  • I’m a fan of quizlet but...

Taking away the offline feature unless you upgrade is such a bummer. I love being able to study while I’m in the road and able to see my flash cards if i was able to open them at least once when I was connected to WiFi. I’m not going to upgrade and pay $20 because I do use other apps more frequently and pay $5 per month. I just don’t see this app being worth $20 per month.
