  • Great and frustrating at the same time

    By Kla0276
I love how inexpensive this app is compared to how much I would be spending on magazines each month. However, certain magazines, usually the ones where you have to scroll down, tend to shut my app down. Then when I go back in it takes me back a few pages and when I go to the problem page it does it again. I hope they find a fix for this soon because it’s getting to the point where it’s more frustrating than its worth. I’d love to be able to finish all the magazines I start.
  • What a great service!

To have all these great magazines in one place, for one low price, and the ability to search and save articles is AMAZING!
  • You screwed up.

    By IzzyRodyRody
In the spirit of trying to make things better I think the app has become worse. Your app locks up when downloading. I think your app was o much more friendly in the past. Oh well. It's still a good deal on reading magazines.
  • Cancel?

    By Mack Retired
Don’t sign up for Texture. I got the week’s free trial and then tried to find a way to say “no thanks please cancel.” But they don’t offer any easy way to cancel. They’ll probably take at least one month’s fee until I can figure out how to disconnect from Texture. Lousy customer service.
  • Glitchy

    By Sunnymoi
I signed up for a free trial before a long trip last year so I could have a lot of reading material without the bulk. At fury I was delighted. I downloaded magazines before my sixteen hour flight and it helped pass the time. Then I started to experience more and more glitches. The app would close every few pages and when I would reopen it, it forgot my place. I decided it wasn’t worth it. Then before my free trial period was over and I could cancel I was charged for the first month. I followed this up with Apple and they helped me cancel my subscription and refund the money. I also emailed texture to let them know how disappointed I was both with the glitches and with the fact that the charged me within the free trial period. I never heard back. Then later this year I started getting charged for it again out of the blue on my credit card. It was not through Apple, but when I contacted them they insisted that I had signed up but cancelled anyway. Fast forward to Christmas when someone gifted me a subscription to texture. As it was a gift I decided to give it a try. I do love how much content is available but I am still disappointed that downloading is so slow and that it still glitches. I can’t read one magazine without the app closing. At least now it remembers my place. If it didn’t glitch and if Customer service was better I would love this app but as it is there is still improvement to be had before it’s outstanding.

  • One complaint

    By Anniezzzzzz
Magazines that are no longer in print/digitally produced are still advertised as part of their offerings. Within the app they are listed also with no indication that there will be no new issues in the future.
  • The best APP ever

    By Cowgirlonahorse
I don’t leave home with out it! I travel and it’s so nice not having a pile of magazines to carry.
  • This is one of my top apps.

    By Max Hall
This is an app I use almost daily. It has helped clear out my mailbox of the paper copies. I love being able to download he magazines before jump on a flight or hanging out at the pool or beach. Have turned a number of friends onto it and all of them have thanked me. Simplifies life with less clutter.
  • Best App Ever

All the mags I enjoy but can’t justify purchasing every month. Great travel companion.
