  • From bad worse

    By disgrub
This is possibly the worst app I’ve ever installed. It used to be a mediocre app—now it loses your subscription, and very poor navigation through the magazine.
  • No way to easily access individually purchased issues

    By goddessbj
The app will restore purchases, but there is no way to access just your purchased content without wading through week after week after week of non-purchased issues to try and find your content.
  • This App Is useless

    By rarely a critic
I renewed my EW membership thinking that I can use the digital version, but this app is a zero starts, it doesn’t work, very disappointed
  • If it ain't broke...

Worse app EVER. Won't load anymore. Loved the previous one. Might not renew after this.
  • Options

    By Dee8100
There are other issues I may like, than others, so you should give us the option to buy one issue at a time. Please give us that option.
  • Some Suggestions

    By Neil EW Reader
For iPad users, please remove the ‘Swipe up for Reader View’ reminder for all text heavy content or at least have it an option to turn off in ‘Settings’. EW needs to provide better high quality photos as you can clearly see that the ones currently used are grainy and pixelated, especially when zoomed in.
  • The New App is Bad

    By majortree
Like many other reviewers have pointed out, the upgraded app is terrible. I was a long time print subscriber and moved on to the digital version years ago. It was one of the few magazines I read regularly. Then, they create this new app that is atrocious. I didn’t even wait until my subscription ran out before I deleted the app. You’d think they would scrap the new version and return to the old app to retain current readers and draw us ex-readers back but, evidently, that’s not in the cards. Sad, I miss reading EW...
  • Don’t buy a digital subscription

    By HappyDadV2
I purchased a digital subscription that offered more magazine issues for a cheaper price. The only way to view digital subscriptions is the EW app and unfortunately not the website. I sign in to the app and it doesn’t allow me to view the current or past issues. Tried contacting EW to resolve the issue with no luck.
  • Latest version took several steps backwards

    By CBegley
Not sure why you would drop so many features with this new version. You can’t remove old issues that you have finished reading, so there is no way to free up the space on your iPad. You also can’t save your place in an issue when you are reading it and you have to jump out of the app midway through the issue. The next time you go into the app, it takes you back to the page or issues. You have to remember which issue you were reading, and then scroll back through it to find where you were. Please, oh please, make some updates soon. The app is almost unusable.
  • I’m Done

    By shaunlyon
Longtime subscriber (check my history, EW) who won’t be renewing this summer when my sub is due... because you ruined the experience of reading your magazine. The app is abysmal. Just awful. No thanks. I’m done.
