Description

Strong is the most minimal and intuitive workout tracker for any fitness routine. With hundreds of preloaded exercises and workout programs it's time to throw out your notebook. Join the over 1 million people who have downloaded Strong to stay on track in the gym. “I’d suggest downloading the “Strong” app before you return to the gym. It’s that good” - CNBC, June 2017 “with apps like Strong, working out feels more like a game” - The Verge, May 2017 “I have used nearly every logging app since the App Store launched. This is the best bar none” “I use this every time I go to the gym and seriously couldn't train without it” “Simple. Intuitive. Functional. Exactly what I was looking for.” “This is bare bones and serious. Right on, and works perfectly... I wish I could give 10 stars.” “It's by far the most intuitive and easy to use workout app I’ve used.” Whether you want to gain strength or just stay healthy, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced powerlifter, Strong provides everything you need to record your workouts as effortlessly and as quickly as possible. Unlike other fitness apps, Strong doesn’t bog you down with pictures and videos you don't need, and provide unnecessary functions you’d never use. Strong is optimised for a progressive barbell routine such as Starting Strength or StrongLifts 5x5, but it is easily adaptable to any other routine of your choosing! FEATURES: - The simplest interface of any fitness app available on the App Store - Add your own routines and choose easily between them - Cardio and strength exercises - and add your own too! - Fully-featured Apple Watch app to log workouts without your iPhone - Support for multiple Exercise Types, including Assisted Bodyweight and Duration Exercises - Track your progress with graphs for Volume and 1RM Progression - Tag sets as Warm Up, Failure or Drop Sets - Supersets/Grouped Exercises - Automatically back up your data with Cloud Sync! - Built in body measurements tracker helps you record your weight and other vitals, and includes support for Apple Health - Share sheet makes archiving workouts to Evernote, Notes or Email easier than ever! - Full Screen Timer for easier notification - Warm Up Calculator tells you which weights to warm up with - Plate Calculator for when the weights get high - Support for Imperial (lbs) and Metric (kg) weights, or a combination of both - Add additional notes to your workout - Advanced Statistics show your personal records and progression, and even calculate your one rep max and total weight lifted! - Export workout information by email to CSV format, as well as full Database Export - Built in Auto Countdown Timer to help record rest breaks The free version of Strong is limited to 3 routines. Upgrade to a Strong PRO subscription ($4.99/month or $29.99/year) to create an unlimited number of routines and unlock additional PRO features. Strong will automatically charge your iTunes Account at the end of your subscription or free trial period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of your current period. You can turn off auto-renew at any time and still receive full functionality until the end of your current period, but no refund can be provided for unused portions of the subscription. If you’ve previously purchased “Unlock Strong” or “Strong Combo Pack”, you’ll be able to use the Restore Purchases option from the app for access to Strong PRO features. These prices are for customers in the United States and may vary depending on your iTunes Account settings. In-app purchases and subscriptions cannot be shared using Family Sharing. Only feedback I have is that a PR should maybe be a cumulative set vs weight max. Keeps me in line without needing a notebook.

    Great.
  • Requires Facebook login

Why does this need to require Facebook login? Really disappointing. More stars when this isn’t a requirement to sync to cloud.
  • Worthless

Ever since Gym Buddy went away, there has not been an app that comes close to duplicating it. Oh wait, unless you subscribe and then it may become more useful, but still fall way short of what a good workout app should be. Truthfully it seems that we have entered into an era of everything must be subscription based, but offer very little or nothing in return. It has now made what used to be a great thing in apps on our phones to now actually making them even more useless. I even thought of retaining my old phone that has more useful apps and this would greatly benefit my workouts. Until you can offer something that is at least effect as the old apps, for free, or the price of watching adds, then don’t expect that we will subscribe to something that has little value in our daily life. There is a limit to what people will subscribe to.
  • Changed to One star - Memory Leak Timber issue

You have a memory leak and it causes the timer to stop working if switching apps. If this does not get fixed I’m probably going to delete this app.
  • Still doesn’t log supersets correctly

I used this app since it’s beginning and the only update to the superset logging has been...oh wait...there’s only been cosmetic changes and a new Apple watch app. This maker is too greedy and doesn’t care to update the app’s core functionality (and lack of it) unless it’s users complain publicly. Is that the kind of app you want to pay 99 a year for? Get gym goal pro.

This app has gone down the toilet ever since the devs started money grubbing for subscriptions. You reserve the functions that I once had prior to these wack updates for subscribers? What the hell. Someone else is going to come along and replace this app without subscription. Upper management needs to check themselves HARD.
  • Updates Please

I really enjoy using this app, however there are some things that need improvement. 1. I would like to customize the name of each workout routine. 2. Please add more workout movements. Incline dumbbell press, Smith machine, cable flys, etc. 3. Add in a rest timer Just a few things that I feel could really improve this app and take it to the top tier.

Update as of November 8 Looks like the latest update fixed the sync issues with Apple Watch and iPhone. Suggestion for up coming updates. -Add an overall workout timer instead of having an exercise timer. -The exercise should remember what you did during the workout and shouldn’t carry over to another workout if you are performing the same exercise in two different it should remember what you did for each workout. Not just your later workout. Update as of November 3rd I waste more time at the gym messing around with this app then I do with my workout. Apple Watch app crashes multiple times before it will sync with companion mode. Once it syncs the Apple Watch crashes a few more times and ends your workout. This needs to be fixed. New update with new releases... Companion mode works pretty good takes the app on the watch 3 or 4 loads (crashing) before it syncs up. Much better on battery life with watch. With the companion app it takes only about 10% battery life when going through the app before the new mode it would take 40-50% battery life. Good improvement on that. App crashing still needs work.
