  • MagicJack is Failing...

    By Stuntman Gabe
The app is glitchy. After it’s latest update, which “tries” to do iOS 11 integration, it fails. Example: The app “tries” to “register device” (doesn’t make any sense). This app needs A LOT of work. There’s another MJ app, don’t know why. Delete that app and upgrade this one! You can’t even send pics or vids. FAIL! Please try again!

Overall I love MagicJack...but this new app is horrible. I downloaded it 3 days ago and it won’t stay connected to calls and is pretty squirrelly. It’s unusable. Please roll this back.
  • Doesn’t Work Overseas

    By Lobos505
One of the reasons I bought Magic Jack was to be able to talk to my family while we are stationed overseas. Now, with the new app update, it can only be accessed using a VPN. So now Military members overseas looking for a way to call home will not be able to use this app since the new update. Thanks a lot...

  • Doesn’t work anymore

I used to love this app. I have been using this app for years and I loved it not now. App says I’m offline which isn’t right. I have turned off phone, restarted app several times, and even reloaded app and nothing worked. I tried asking questions on customer support website nothing.
  • Works

A great basic phone service for home without my number being published anywhere unlike Ooma or Vonage who charge extra to block spam.
  • Was great now incompatible iPhones

One min my service was working just as it had for almost a year and hour later won't connect. Tried restarting phone deleting and re downloading the app rebooting cable modem wifi router .. still won't connect and phone is working fine in every other way. Contacted online support they made me redo what I already did and gave me a email address to contact for help. They told me my app was adjusted and should work now ... it did not.. so they made me do the above over again .. still didn't work.. and made me check my internet speed registers above average even with someone watching Netflix while I was doing so... now no answers... I paid for this service for 2 years and now I can't use it. This was iPhone 5C no software updates were made to it recently Even tried a network and system reset . No luck

  • Bad app good service

I have been using MagicJack for about 9 years and I’ve loved it until now. I recently switched from an android phone to iPhone and now the app is completely useless. I have an active subscription which I just updated two weeks ago and when I try to activate it on the iPhone it says my subscription has expired and I need to renew it. No, I don’t. And it’s still working wonderfully on my wife’s android app. Fix your product guys, it’s not like your providing a free service
  • App isn’t as good as it could be

    By zjsmetana
Can make/get calls like a normal phone. Limited to one old school ringtone. I can’t hear it unless close to me, frequency is too high. Also has problems connecting to wifi if cellular is turned off, but works when cellular is on then using wifi after checking cell data use. Texting seams to load messages in chunks and out of order sometimes. Just seems slapped together.
