  • You’d be better off on Craigslist...

For the amount of money and laundry of questions, you’d think someone creating the matching algorithms would have an idea of how comparability works. The pool of men are also either desperate or so strange. There are glaringly obvious reasons they are single. I joined because I am too busy and rarely have time to mingle in the real world. Now all I have done is lost even more faith in humanity, lost valuable time, and $139. Seriously... craigslist or tinder gives you better options.
  • Poor user interface

This app only seems to match me with people 100 miles away. When I called to request that they provide me with closer matches they told me that isn’t available at this time. They seem to not care that dating someone outside my state does not work for me. You are much better off using a free dating app. Most people on eHarmony use other sites so the dating pool really is the same. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
  • Worst dating site ever.

DO NOT PAY FOR THIS SITE! The site is absolutely horrible and the customer service is WORSE!!! If I could give this site less than one star I would I give it negative stars!!! The communication between users is god awful, the way the site is set up, they do not encourage people to actually start up a conversation and only send weird awkward smiles. None of my “matches” were people of interest at all. Their matching algorithms are terrible! The customer service is the worst, and do not expect any sympathy from them if you need a refund after only 4 days of nothing but dissatisfaction!!! I have never been more disappointed in a dating site than I have been with eharmony in the last 5 days. WARNING!!! STAY AWAY FROM EHARMONY!!! They won’t let you see photos or talk to people or really do anything useful on their site, and that is how they trick you into paying for it! But beware, it’s all a huge scam to get You to pay and become locked into a contract. TRY MATCH.COM! Their general format is way more user friendly and the the people actually start conversations!

I enjoy eharmony. You receive many matches, depending on your preferences, and eharmony screens for scams and fake profiles. I enjoy that fact very much!
  • Poor matching and no search capability

In the two weeks between creating my profile and subscribing, eharmony sent me 70 matches. Since subscribing I’ve seen exactly one. Worse, they only let you see people that they send you. You can’t search for yourself. Really? Of course they have their algorithm (quote, “where all the magic happens” [eye roll]) but it’s not that great, tbh. Only 50 of the 71 matches they’ve sent were even what they call “compatible,” and most of those didn’t even match my “very important” criteria. Why they send me non-compatible matches or consider someone as a match that doesn’t meet my very important criteria — and not let me search for myself — is beyond me. It’s fine that eHarmony has their matching system, but it’s just arrogant for them to think that it’s so marvelous that they don’t have to let you search for people yourself. Cue the response about how they’re different and do it to provide a great user experience. Sorry, but different doesn’t mean better, and not letting me determine for myself who’s a good match is not a good experience at all. I’ve got one day left in my cancelation period. I’ll probably cancel since I don’t know how it could get any better.
  • Worthless and Overpriced

Why must I pay for months at a time? And why say the app is free and have people create accounts when you have to pay to use it? Deleting this app now. Using OkCupid.
  • Too much money

Completely useless unless you pay at least $139 to start. No trial. No month at a time. You can’t see pics. You can’t write messages. Waste of a download
  • Awful!

This is quite possibly the worst dating app out there. Don’t waste your money or your time. You’re better off with a free dating app.
  • It’s basically “pay to win”

Yeah this DOES ask a lot of questions to give you a decent match... but you have to pay to be able to text someone or even SEE THEM!!! I understand that they have to make their money someone how but for the love of Christ make something ELSE need a subscription. Being able to message each other is a very important part of starting a relationship and not being able to do so makes this app freaking useless.
