  • Version 4.0.0 continues the “Crash Happy” tradition

    By One Angry EA
Feb 21, 2018 ... Tax Season underway ... Thompson Reuters picked this time to issue an update and BAM! I can not open my reference materials because the new ProView crashes about 1.5 seconds after opening. What kind of monkeys do you guys employ to script our software? FIX IT DAMNIT! I have clients depending on me NOW, not next week or next month, but today, Feb. 21, 2018! Yes! Thank all that is good in the universe, my ProView is back to working! Thank you TR, but next time don’t use me as a beta tester, verify an update actually works before releasing it!
  • You MUST erase the old App & ADD the new Version

    By DMoore9
I just go off the phone with the “Tech Support” that “did not work in the ProView area,” but knew I had to erase & re-download. It works now ... although I had to waste a 1/2 hour of my day to figure this out & my app hasn’t work since I updated last week. Given that we pay as much as we do for this app, you’d think these folks would at least give us a heads up.
  • App no longer opens

Since recent update app is no longer working. Tap app to open and it takes you back to the ipad table top. Had to long in through site.

Just installed latest update and now I cannot open the app. Hopefully, it will be fixed by tomorrow.
  • Keeps Crashing, can’t access paid content

    By Mspera80
There was an update for this app and now it won’t stay open. I paid hundreds of dollars to view my ebooks on my iPad and now I can’t use this for my tax appointments. Hope they resolve this soon.
  • Version 4.0.0 crashes on opening

I don’t recommend updating the app at this time.
  • Crash after crash

After the update, the app crashes. Contacted the company repeatedly with no response. Expected more from Thompson Reuters. Very disappointing.
  • New Update 3.2 Does Not Work Anymore App is Useless—Update

    By NarutoGoku#1
I use to love Proview. After updating today to 3.2 the app is useless. Tech support cannot fix. Software issue. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY until the software issue is fixed. Even on my PC the update caused Proview to be slower and all my notes were missing on some ebooks. Asking for a partial refund since I can no longer use the app I got six (6) of eight ebooks to download with the app not crashing. This is definitely beyond a doubt a software issue in the app because if I download the other two (2) ebooks the app crashes. FIX THE BUG PLEASE!!!!!!! PATCH NOW PLEASE!!!!

You can open and search, but once you click a search result the app crashes. Online version is not much better. You can get to the ebook, but you cannot type anything into the search field. Waste of time and money.
