Is there anyway to disable this new hide/block pins feature? I have accidentally hidden things that I actually like! There is no way to undo it if you did it accidentally! PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!

I really don’t know how much it matters to write a review. but Thank you for asking. I’d like to see less hate speech and depressing animal stories. Make a way to edit what we see please. I do not want to be advertised to either. I’m here for inspiration and idea boards to use in my creative thought process. PLEASE lose the ranting and predators that live here. I think they all came from another app and do not belong in my safe space. Thank you.

  • Suspended

I don’t normally leave reviews on stuff, but here goes. I’ve been a Pinterest user for only a few weeks and up until this afternoon it’s been great. I’ve found anything from writing prompts to inspirational quotes. However, this afternoon I got suspended. In your email that you sent me you said it was because I was supposedly violating your “spam policy” which I don’t understand. I haven’t posted anything inappropriate and I haven’t spammed anybody that I know of. It’s just really frustrating that I have been suspended and I don’t know why. Also, I have a bit of a problem with the repetitive pins that show up in my feed, I have seen the same posts at least a thousand times by now and it gets annoying after a while especially when I have already saved these pins to one of my boards.

Cons: Too many time consuming suggestive post instead of pins from people I follow. Too much porn (I wished we got paid to report violators bc there is so much porn here). Pros: Personalized boards (loving it)

  • Recommendations are the opposite of my interest

I had to turn off recommendations in my settings because Pinterest kept suggesting pins that are the exact opposite of what I want to see. For awhile the incorrect recommendations stopped, but I guess due to my browsing the recommendations started again and I had to play whack-a-mole to hide those recommendations. The app says they will try to not show these recommendations in the future but they still keep coming for a long time. Pinterest needs to give more control to the users to eliminate the totally wrong recommendations and keep only the ones what are reasonably correct.
