unfortunately can not take photo, but this app is very good!!!!!
  • I have a suggestion

By HI check out my message
I love everything about this but in the next update you guys should add an option if you want the film to sound like an old vintage. Like if someone in the video starts talking their voice would sound like it’s coming from an old radio or something. But yeah you should add that option.
  • Lana Del Rey recommended, but...

The 8mm vintage effect is fine. But! It can’t shot photo!
  • Great except you can’t import vertical videos

    By Sophieeeeee11.
Like the app but don’t like that you can’t shoot or load in vertical videos (they get cropped)*... and if you shoot vertical the whole app is still in a horizontal orientation. Other than that beautiful filters. Really wish I could import vertical videos as that’s my preferred choice of orientation. *I also went ahead and rotated a vertical video into horizontal layout but when loaded back into the app the app still read it as vertical and cropped it.
  • Doesn’t work with iPhoneX!!

    By Lovelivianne
Please please fix this 😭 I LOVED this app! I’ve been using it for such a long time, and I was heartbroken when it didn’t work with my new iPhoneX.
  • Please add these things!

    By AAMarks001
Let me play background music!!! And don’t crop my videos when I import them!!!
  • Portrait Orientation Lock 🔒

    By Farouq97
If you could add a portrait orientation lock option on the settings, it would be the perfect app. Everything else is already perfect!!
  • Can’t upload images

    By Boomcho
I like this app, but you have to use the app while recording bc you can’t upload other video or pix and edit through this app.
  • Toy-like user interface; Professional grade filters

    By nimakarimi
This app has the best filters and effects to give that old vintage look to the videos. The grain is very high quality and natural looking and the color transformations and the filters are of professional grade quality (comparable to expensive pro software). But there’s one catch, The user interface is not built to use this as a professional app in a videomaker’s toolkit. It is mostly built like a toy to just play around with the effects. There are many many things that could be improved in the UI to make it easier to use. For example one can not preview any filter without actually applying it on a video and saving it to the camera roll. Also it does a 1:1 conversion, so a half hour long video takes exactly half an hour to be processed. Changing filters is also not at all easy, you have to turn a dial to change it. The library part of the app takes a while to update each time you open it (specially when you have lots of videos on your device) It also has a weird bug which has not been fixed yet after many releases, if I edit a vertical ratio (9:16) video in another app and import it in the 8mm, it does not respect the rotation and stretches it to view as horizontal. But overall I’m using it quite often and I really love the filters so I can’t complain much. ;)
  • A Question

    By Hayder.
Excellent app. However, I have a question. Is it possible to shoot in 60 FPS? That would be really neat since I like shooting in 60 fps and then slowing down the footage to get a smooth slow motion. I know it defies how a film camera isn’t supposed to shoot slo mo, but I’m using the app for the effects mainly.
