  • Know what it does best

I’m a Premium member. That means I pay for Evernote. And I still love Evernote. If you’re in the process of going paperless - This is the App for you. Every note, thought, idea, personal data, document and quote can be stored and retrieved. It works effortless between iPhone, iPad, Mac and Pc. Evernote is the perfect digital content aggregator. But know what it does best. Data aggregation and content curation is what it does to almost to perfection. It’s NOT good at sharing the Data with other users. G-Drive and DropBox are all better at that. I speculate high level security policy at Evernote can be the issue. I have no problem Evernote being too safe on my behalf. Enjoy Evernote guys. Try it !
  • Only a nitpick or two

Like many Evernote fans, I use the application for all my note-taking and basic text construction projects across both Mac and iOS. The organization is great, the speed is amazing and I can find and update files in seconds. One of my only nitpicks, however, is that, if I’m not mistaken, there used to be a more prominent and ever-present button to create new notes. (I realize it’s just a matter of opening the sidebar or hitting Command-N, but I like the concept of having an easily reachable button. Another nitpick is that sometimes when I roll my cursor over the editing field, the file begins to scroll automatically, an action that’s difficult to stop. Otherwise Evernote is, to me, the perfect note-taking app, giving me access to all of my projects at any time.
  • I love this app, but I have a few wishes

This app is absolutely indispensable. I have no idea what I would do without it, but I’m sure I’d be back to index cards and file boxes and steno pads and all sorts of other nonsense. I read that there has been some upheaval in managment, but I hope that won’t impact our ability to keep on keeping on with my favorite digital tool. I use this thing every day and it is brilliant: Couple of wishes: 1. I wish I had the ability to color-code/flag the notes themselves. It would make it visually easier to search out flags when I’m scrolling especiall when search times become largely redundant. 2. I wish I had the ablity to add a numeric lock to particular notes. Up the security. 3. I wish I had the ability to scroll to the very end of a not to continue typing. I wish there was a way to do this the same way that when you tap on the top banner it scrolls swiftly to the top. That’s about it for now. I love your product. It is, BY FAR, the best of breed. Thank you!

I like Evernote and am a long-time user. I also use DEVONthink Pro. Evernote is worth its premium price. I like that my notes are available on the Mac as well as the IOS devices: iPhone & iPad. So no matter what device I’m using, I have my notes and I can add notes as well.
  • Product: GREAT Customer Support: WORST EVER

The product is great, without question my most used app. However, customer support is absolutely non-existant. If you have problems your only option is to submit a nebulous ticket on their website, then just sit around a wait until they email you. Of course and email is NOT going to solve your problems, so then you email back more details. Then you sit….and wait. Horribly frustrating!
  • Dark Mode?

I'll upgrade to premium to get the extra features as soon as they add dark mode. I can't stare at a bright white background all day long. Other than that, love the application.

I absolutely love everything about this app. The only tiny detail that I wish was different is that when you want to go back-and-forth on two of your notes within a notebook- it automatically jumps back to the very top of the note, instead of the line or paragraph that you were just looking at- making it dificult to compare information on the two notes. But in all honesty, I’m sure this is just a feature that I haven’t tried hard enough to customize and is probably fixable. Everything else is great.
  • Keeps my Day and Projects Organized and Synced Perfectly!

I have been using Evernote for many years and it just keeps getting more useful. I am a Marketing Design Manager and attended many meetings where Evernote comes in very handy. I take notes, I take photos of whiteboards or customer designs they cannot leave with me, I scan briefs, and even use the audio notes to transcribe later. The best part is when I get back to my desk it’s all there waiting foer me! Evernote has become a very important part of my daily workflow and I don't know how I lived without it in the past.
  • upgrade does not work. useless support system

I´ve been an evernote user for years. I upgraded to premium mainly to use the pdf annotation feature. After three days, the upgrade has not gone through. I have submitted two tickets. The “ambassadors” can´t do anything as they can´t access your account. My first support ticket was closed without providing any solution. I submitted the second one yesterday and after a full entire day, no response. I just want my money back!!!! There is no real way to contact evernote, no email, no direct support service, no phone. I feel I´ve been robbed 70 bucks.
