  • Works Perfectly

Most recent reviews suggest that this app is bugged, though the latest patch must have covered everything, or it’s something out of Google’s controls. As long as you read directions and don’t work ahead of yourself, using the Google Authenticator with whatever it is you are using it for is one of the easiest and safest ways to log in to almost any network or software. 5 stars because there is nothing wrong with it.
  • Why did I get this app?

Wondering why I ever downloaded this app. If it is supposed to support new phone transfers, based on all the negative reviews, it screws the users. If you won’t fix it, at least explain in the app description what the app is and isn’t supposed to do. This is the least descriptive app listing I’ve ever seen.

A recent iOS update led to my phone being temporarily reduced to an expensive brick. Thanks to iTunes no longer backing apps up, it forced me to redownload GA. Irritating, but whatever. Tap the icon. “This app is no longer available on the App Store.” If that’s the case, how am I able to leave this review? As Sterling Archer might say: eat a whole bag of ****s, Google.
  • Inexplicably stopped working

probably lost the Google priming key, but the program provides no clue what’s going on or where to go from here as one finds oneself at the opening screen unexpectedly for the first time in years- I’m lost, certainly.

  • No longer on App Store

Why do I get I Message that it’s not longer on the App Store. It’s my one of the best authenticator apps I have tried so far. Please bring to back.
  • The app is fundamentally great but lacks some desired features.

Overall, Google Authenticator is simple to use and does what it's supposed to. There are a couple of missing features that would significantly improve the app, however. First, some form of authentication protection, e.g., a PIN or Touch ID, before the stored codes are shown. Second, dependent on the quantity of entries one has stored, it can be cumbersome to search for those that are less frequently used. The addition of a search and/or sorting function would alleviate this.
  • 2 more features

Does exactly what it says it does, but we need Touch ID/PIN protection, and maybe Google Drive backups so we don’t lose codes by changing phones.
  • Why?

    By Grandpa_Kermit
I had to get this again because my other phone broke beyond repair and to get started again it wants me to type my email and a key code in order to get the Authenticator to work, but I haven’t been given any sort of code at all and I can’t do anything with this, why make an authentication app that’s impossible to use?
  • Terrible user interface!

I am not a novice at this. Tried to enable with Mail Chimp on my iPhone. After 8! tries, I’m giving up.
