  • App is terrible and customer service worse

    The digital edition keeps loading as a trial edition after a few pages asks for you to sign in although you are already signed in, Some pages when they load are not clear when you zoom in, when you call customer service it is a joke trying to explain the problem and their solution which does not work. They need to fix the app and customer service

    App constantly crashes. Click an article to read and 5 seconds later app completely crashes and closed out.

    It used to work fine, now more than half of the time I try to view an article, it locks up and after several minutes, shuts down. ‘Reinstall’ they say and blame the device. Ok. Subscription canceled.

    Tribune subscriber for 20+ years. I’ve called them. All they can suggest is delete and reinstall. Been there; done that - no better. I’m done. This app glitches, freezes, restarts, won’t open. C’mon Tribune Company. We’re paying for this, we’re subscribers. E news isn’t the future, it’s the present. Get it right.

    I was liking the app until video ads started playing with sound. I’m a paid subscriber . Is this a joke? I immediately deleted it.

    Just loaded new update - now app does not even open. Doesn’t your masthead say “The World’s Greatest Newspaper”? How about a functioning app?

    Takes 25-30 seconds to load, freezes, offline content function takes even longer to save, sometimes two minutes or more while skipping many stories. By far the worst news app I have used. Shockingly bad.
