The way the app fast forwards and rewinds is horrible!!! its way to easy to accidentally do which wouldnt be that bad if it didnt make you wait thought the commercials that you already watched just to get back to where you were.
  • Went from user friendly to user unfriendly

Wrong move hulu, fire that UX design team! Should have slowly introduce or keep some of the old things before wiping the entire old system away!! Doesn’t sync up with web, lost all my on going tv! Need to add to my watch list.... garbage! Thanks for spending the money on nothing Man! Hulu! WRONG MOVE!!!
  • While attempting to make things easier, they made it harder

There is just too much swiping and flipping back and forth. The interface needs fewer options, not more. For example my stuff and continue watching can be confusing to some users. I’ve also noticed that some people are really confused by the line over what is selected rather than under? Why not just highlight the whole thing? This is a usability disaster reinforced by not using enough real users. Also, if you are going to suggest stuff to us, how about letting us say “never show this to me again”? I could care less about most reality tv, but it still gets recommended to me. Let me say I don’t want to be recommended The Bachelor, do I never need to see it again in any of my lists.

FOR YEARS this was by far my favorite app until the updates... Hulu here is what you need to fix: 1st The app stops when I get a call or text after I have to hit play to continue even if I have dismissed the call or text. The app needs to continue playing without input from me. 2nd The new way you guys allow me to fast forward or rewind by touching and sliding my finger across the screen is to big. Often I will fast forward or rewind half of the show my mistake. So please make the area to control that just the bottom of the screen. 3rd the fast forward and or rewind 10 seconds can be more responsive and half of the upper part of the screen versus buttons. Look at how YouTube is doing it. Long time subscriber 1st Time feed back.
  • Can’t stand this app anymore

The constant fear of accidentally restarting an ep, the inability of search to find something I later find scrolling around, and just the constant freezing - what have you done to this app? You’ve made me miss cable dvrs.
  • Close to cancelling

This app has some major issues and it makes me rethink using Hulu as a service. Sometimes shows skip a portion of the show. Sometimes they hang up at a spot and you can’t continue watching. It’s really frustrating to start and show and not be able to finish or to miss a section of a show.
  • Annoying

    By My girl Lil
So I like Hulu, it works fine on iPad and TV but it skips episodes of older seasons and it doesn’t have all the seasons of some shows. Not sure I’ll keep paying for something that I can’t follow with missed episodes and seasons.
  • Rewind the MADNESS

    By Atavist
Please, for the love of all that is good and decent in this world, change your implementation of rewind and fast forward. It is truly maddening. This app is made for mobile devices. These devices are small, handheld touchscreens designed to be operated with touch input. However, not all touch events are intentional. Most apps recognize this fact and implement some form of touch rejection or design the app in such a way that spurious inputs don’t completely derail the user experience. This app, however, exists in a different reality. It’s as if the developers intend for you to lose your place in a video. Please remove the drag to scrub feature. It’s a nightmare. I’m actually considering canceling my Hulu plus subscription because of the awful user experience in this app.
  • Award for worst UX ever

    By Tayroberts7
This is quite possibly the least intuitive app I’ve ever used. I struggle with finding my saved shows and the simple task of rewinding anything is much more of a struggle than it should be. Stop trying so hard and trying to make a “pretty” app. Everyone, including developers and designers, would rather have a simple functioning app than an excessive worthless one.
  • This app is awfully made
