  • Not just fit to print but super fit!

Close to my bible, both on the news and the editorial sides of the house. Suggestions for improvement would be more access to maps, graphics, pictorials to help the print come to life.

  • The pursuit of excellence

The WSJ has done an excellent job in applying digital technology to the publication of a newspaper. Of the two digital formats, online and iPad, the iPad is more responsive, meaning quicker to load. Both of these formats should improve the search and save mechanisms. I find it takes an inordinate amount of time for the mechanisms to trigger. Even the daily edition updates take too long. I do wonder if a search mechanism could replace the need for one week’s editions. And, reduce the memory requirements. The WSJ is by far the biggest memory hog on my iPad. 😄😆☺️

This app crushed my data plan more than any other out there.
  • Too many bugs & ads

The substance of the WSJ is great. The app itself is lousy. It’s prone to frequent crashes. It has too many ads - often the same over and over again - that are difficult to scroll through. A shame overall.
