  • iPhone compatibility

I used to use this all the time, in fact, probably more than any other app, but not anymore. Every time I open, it has to reload all my notes. Very annoying.

App is well designed hope we get new features in iOS 12. And I know the apps a little spyish looking at are notes which I’m highly not a fan of go take other people’s ideas else where that’s not what I paid for use it to improve app only thank you very much.
  • No automatic shape recognition.

    By klisaanne
Generally really good, but sometimes I want to draw a plain circle or square (for a flowchart for example) using a shape recognition feature, such as that in GoodNotes. It’s really annoying and cumbersome to have to click the + option and then search for the shape you want and crop the figure before adding it back to the notes page. Also I can’t have subjects with the same name, even if they are under different dividers. This means for school I can’t have 2 dividers for different courses with subsections by the same name. For example, if I want to organize my chemistry course into subsections, like “tests”, “lectures”, “homework”, etc. I can’t create another divider for a different course with those same subsections. Finally, there is no support for windows, only macs.
  • Best note taking and writing app

I have had Notability for 4 years, before the iPad Pro. I upgraded to an iPad Pro a couple years ago, and It is by far my most used app now; with an iPad pro and Apple Pencil, Notability is the best note book on the planet. My penmanship/handwriting is not great, but it 100% legible in Notability with the Apple Pencil. I used to carry multiple notebooks to meetings and managing what meeting was recorded in what book was always a hassle. Now everything is in my iPad. Notability has regularly the application and recent updates to handwriting recognition in search are amazing. I used the LiveScribe pen/paper system years ago, and it had nice features and great handwriting search, but Notability is getting close to matching those and keeps everything paperless.
  • Good, Now Make it Better

Absolutely love this app when doing anything within the app, except we need to be able to search a note on iPhone. The option is there on the iPad but currently not for the phone. Also please work on the stability of navigating larger notes. Finally and the biggest issue of all is attempting to transfer ANYTHING to this app from another source. I've received errors only to open the app and find 5 messes up versions of whatever it was I was trying to send. The stability of this app is just not worth the price tag.
  • Need more options!

  • Doesn’t worth it

    By JazzismyFUNK
Ok! Let’s begin why... 1. huge troubles with pasting images, so they don’t disappear or do weird things, do Whatever they want but not do what I Ask them to do. 2. Another things is those markers...come on guys! Couple of layers and the text becomes dull and impossible to read. 3. Why pasting a text is such a big issue? This enormous box follows a tiny text, and if you have a paper grid, you’re screwed -it will ruin the grid and create this “out of picture” thing. Very disappointed with this app, especially after reading so many recommendations. Doesn’t worth the money at all.
