Thanks to everyone for making MyRadar so successful, with over 35 million downloads! MyRadar is a fast, easy-to-use, weather application that displays animated weather radars around your current location, allowing you to quickly see what weather is coming your way. Our High Definition Doppler radar data is processed from raw NOAA weather radar data from the National Weather Service / NWS using our custom-designed, proprietary systems and software, offering the clearest, sharpest, most accurate and most up-to-date reflection of precipitation available... easily accessible at the tap of a finger on your mobile device. Just start the app, and your location pops up with animated weather, allowing you to easily see if rain or snow is headed your way. Our high-res animated radar helps you see weather details even at the closest level! What's great about MyRadar is that the map is easily zoomed and scrolled around with the flick of a finger, allowing you to quickly check the weather in other parts of the country, including Hawaii & Puerto Rico! On top of the basic weather forecast, users can get a quick glance of temperatures around the country, as well as overlay a current satellite image of cloud cover. For you aviation buffs, there's a layer that provides AIRMETs & SIGMETs, and even the ability to overlay the flight plan of a particular aircraft onto the map. With an additional annual subscription that automatically renews, you can overlay the weather on top of VRF and IFR aviation charts. You can also share interesting weather photos from your area, and see photos other users have contributed neatly displayed on the map. Additional options include weather warnings and alerts, complete with push notifications, to warn you of severe weather in your area. Great for the start of thunderstorm and tornado season! There's also an optional hurricane tracker, providing excellent details and projections for the path of storms as the season looms near. MyRadar currently shows weather for the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, when HD Radar is enabled). Download MyRadar today and try it out! -------- If you choose to purchase the Aviation Charts subscription, which is not required in order to use MyRadar, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your settings in the iTunes Store after purchase. The current subscription for the Aviation Charts starts at $24.95 USD per YEAR. Prices are in U.S. dollars, may vary in countries other than the U.S. and are subject to change without notice. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period. • App is almost perfect!

    By Dr.Bleed
So the app is great and the map is about as good as you can find on the app store. The problem is the present weather reflects wether that won’t actually occur for several hours which kind of undermines the entire point of present weather. Right now it shows rain, but I’m staring at a starry sky. For that, 4 stars!
  • Amazing!!!

This app is literally all you need in a weather app, and it’s free!! However, there is one thing that bothers me and I’m not sure if anyone else experiences this too. The “graph” that displays in the app of the weeks temperature and precipitation doesn’t always seem to match up with the hourly predicted values. The °F or °C on the left Y axis don’t appear to follow the true temperature values, and it can be confusing or misleading to look at. This also occurs in the home screen shortcut (widget) and sometimes the graph just doesn’t make any sense. With this being said, the temperatures are always correct and precipitation/radar very accurate, so this is a minor problem if any at all.

One of the best radar apps I have ever used. Always current, up to date and you can actually see different weather maps world wide. I would venture to say it's better than the most common weather apps out there (names I won't mention). My favorite so far.
  • What is with the star?

For the most part I have enjoyed using this app. However the other day I touched a star and I can’t get back to my radar. What’s up with that?
  • Great app

Simplistic in nature, easy to navigate, straight to the point, there is no pushing several different buttons to try to find your area.....simply expand and shrink your screen to hone in on the location. Awesome job.
  • Needs Help

App would be better if they cut the delay time to a couple of minutes instead of the 7-9 minutes that is the delay I’m seeing. This time of year, the weather changes suddenly and this isn’t useful.
  • I love watching my radar

    By uglynickel
Here in the Midwest, with unpredictable weather, my radar shows me how close the storm is to my house!
  • A must have app

Simple to use, visually appealing and very useful. Much better than a “weather app”. A must have app!!
  • Radar for what???

    By ricker6410
The sky was black and buckets of water were falling here in Rio, but, My Radar showed clear skies and a mild wind off the ocean, Then the only other place it would show me was a city in KS. I could not go to or check any other city or place. You could get better weather results by checking an old rock lying on the ground. Roll the rock over, if it is dry under the rock and wet around it then it is raining, if it is wet under the rock and dry around it, then it had rained earlier. Get the idea, My Radar vs. My Brain. OH, by the way, if it is cold and wet feeling, it is probably snowing. If you are sunburned, it is probably Sunny and clear, LOL
