  • New update unnecessarily ruined the app.

Prior to the new update Pocket functioned seamlessly and has a user friendly and clean interface. After the update, there’s a greater emphasis on over the top design. Specifically, articles in the “List” are now much bigger so only a handful take up the whole screen. Why not let us choose the view we want? The new view makes it feel CLUTTERED. Also, the TTS feature no longer highlights the text as it’s read. So if you like following along as the text is read out loud, YOU CAN NO LONGER DO THAT. Oddly, Pocket HAS TAKE AWAY MORE FEATURES with its latest update. Why!?

I can't live without Pocket. I use it to save everything I want to reference later – whether it's a web article, product I might buy, or just a link to access on another device. It's one of the most useful services I have ever used. Please add support for Dynamic Text or add the option to adjust the text size of the main article list in version 7.0. The new UI feels big and zoomed in.

Pocket was already an awesome app but the new feature that reads an article out loud makes it the best! I’m on the go a lot and I don’t have a lot of time to read. This new feature lets me keep up with what interests me while I get to my next destination.

If you love endless expanses of white space, this is the reading app for you. If you like seeing more than 4 saved stories on your feed, then yearn like me for the Pocket of yore.
