I’ve been a Pro member for years. Today as I’m preparing to train my clients, all of my client account data and workouts are not available. The app will not let me leave a support request so I’m leaving this review hoping for a quick response and fix. The app is too expensive for this lack of support!
  • So disappointing

This used to be a great app, but the developer’s failure to make substantive updates have destroyed it. They’ve REMOVED the best feature entirely - the Apple Watch app. Despite being told for months it was being updated to operate natively from the iPhone, one of the recent updates removed it entirely. While it was often buggy, at least it had relative functionality. The workouts are good, but the iPhone only app is simply poor and outdated. If I could cancel my annual subscription now I would.
  • Best fitness app hands down!

I bought this app to use on my watch. It is so flaky, one has to wonder if the developer has any background or is just another amateur. I build my own workouts - they have zillions to chose from on all kinds of equipment. It is annoying that one must scroll through so many exact duplicates. The more serious issues are with the watch app. You must have your phone nearby for the watch to work. The refresh often doesn’t work unless I reboot my watch. The rest timer is very inconsistent. You can change weight and rest time but not reps. The add exercise button doesn’t work. Ever heard of quality control?
  • No rest timer half the time

Very buggy. Half the time you use it there’s no rest timer...

I have paid for a year subscription for s Plus account, am being charged monthly twice and still cannot access the “Plus’” exercise choices. If I could get ahold of support to fix this I would be thrilled. The “send a question to support” on the website isn’t working. I don’t know how to get this issue fixed.
  • iPhone App UI good...but that’s it

Functionality is seriously lacking. Can’t keep track of sets done per workout, it auto populates all three sets or more at once! So when you’re doing a set of 10 or more per workout you cannot keep good track of the ones you already did. The watch app has major issues. It refreshes the watch essentially after every set making it necessary to open the iPhone app to restart the watch app making it useless to use the watch! It seems to be getting worse with every Apple update, usually an indication that iteration is slowing by the developer and ultimately will end support.... Update: The watch app is unusable for me now. It crashes during every workout. I’ve worked with the developers of the app to no avail. I’ve even bought a new Apple Watch thinking that may be the issue and have experienced the exact poor results. If you want Apple Watch support this is not the app for you!

This app has free (no subscription) workouts that cater to everything. Amazing!! When everything costs money. This does not.

I am two weeks into using this app on my Apple Watch. I have 30 years of gym workouts behind me. I started with a prebuilt intermediate level Fundamental Strength program. I gave it three stars because the workout was well-balanced and good. I took away stars for a several reasons. 1) Often the picture of the workout was not there. This happened at least once during each of my sessions. 2) even though some workouts repeated, the original weight entry that I input did not populate the same workout in the future. I had to go back to find the day that I did the workout to add the weight. 3) every single workout has the identical rep/weight screen. This screen is not applicable for many of the exercises: crunches, planks, bicycle crunches, etc. 4) it would be nice to swap out exercises on the fly. Like I said, I found the program of exercises to be excellent. I will try other apps. Depending on what I find, I may or may not come back to this one.
