  • Apple watch 😬

    By Official_EZ
Love the app and all but I just connected my Apple watch and I did a 7.9 mile ride on my bike and said my top speed was 0.9 MPH and my distances 0.59 miles and I know I did a 7.9 mile ride... My girlfriend was also using the app while doing the ride and she got 7.9 miles on hers but she doesn't have a apple watch...
  • Nice App but

Very pleased to see support for Apple Watch. It would be even better to offer customizable display options for the watch.
  • Good app

I have difficulty rating this app. Under Armour makes it and MapMyFitness and others. I usually use the one that I named. Unless an app stands out for its positives, I rarely give 5 stars. I read other reviews about it. I updated and went for a short walk. Cycling might be different. It worked correctly. I read a review with an iPhone 8 Plus. Mine is a 7 Plus. I know about buttons (screen) being pushed and causing problems. I carry my phone. If your app will not record the workout, I have a suggestion. If you want to know your speed, this does not work. Record the start and end times. Know where you road. When you are done, use a desktop or laptop to create the route you rode. I suggest logging from the phone. It starts you at 12 am otherwise.
  • No longer reliable

Map My Ride used to be wonderful but for some odd reason it can no longer accurately track rides. Out of the last handful of rides I’ve done, the data (distance, time, speed) has been way off on most. Today I did a ride that I know is roughly 8 miles but the app recorded it as a little over 3 miles (and hence has my average speed at less than 3mph).
  • Not as good as it was

    By sfrewin
The app has been pretty good up until the last couple of releases. I’ve been using it for several years. My only complaint is the audio reporting and the visual reporting don’t match. The audio reports speeds .1 mph faster than the recorded visual speed. It’s disappointing when after a ride you look at the recorded speed and it doesn’t match. Come on developers fix it!

This is one of the awesome free apps out there indeed . Love it
  • Three rides and three failed activities tracked.

    By B8con
I have used this app for three separate rides and each time I hit start, I check that is recording only to find when I finish the ride nothing is logged. First time I thought it was me, so the second time I put my phone in a bag after locking the phone. Third time I had the phone mounted to my handle bars. Each time same result. Sorely disappointed.
  • Love this App

I love how this app syncs with My Fitness App, and how you have all the data from your ride at your fingertips!
  • Inconsistent

    By Dormadm
One ride it doesn’t record speed, the next speed works and HR doesn’t, then voice coaching, then today route and distance. Thinking I need to move on.

I’ve been using MapMyRide since January 2012, compiling almost 12,000 miles of cycling in the southeastern USA. The software was very helpful in understanding the circumstances of a hit-and-run accident I suffered 3 miles from the end of the 455-mile Natchez Trace Parkway in October 2017.
