  • Paid upgrade again?

    By Pascel
    What a money grab.
  • Mostly improvements

    By Topherz82
Happy with most of the changes, but the new calendar is annoying! Please put it back at the bottom. I’m keeping OmniFocus 2, and not recommending it unless this is fixed or you at least let people download version 2
  • Great so far

    By mjd9ball
Just getting into the Omnifocus system and things seems to be great so far. Siri shortcuts and other app integrations are a big help. Question: for the iOS app, have you considered adding a home button? Following breadcrumbs all the way back to the home screen between tasks is tedious.
  • pay again?

    By Aaallleeex
I have the mac and ios versions of this. Paying again is what broke the camels back. I’m going elsewhere. This upgrade is not worth the money.
  • Still the best

If you serious about task management there is only one option.
  • Wish I could do more with less taps

    By YourGhostInMyMachine
Really love the app, just wish I could get around faster. Feel like I’m jumping around between screens way too often. No clue how I’d do it differently in most scenarios though.
  • Watch out!

    By JGVillasBoas
I do want to have my money back. After I tested the app I liked it, so I proceeded and bought the license using my iPhone. The problem is that the Mac app was not unlocked after I purchased the license. According to the vendor I have to buy another license for the Mac. It makes no sense at all. I want my money back! I feel cheated!
  • OF3: Excellent update from a company that cares

    By Shadowdoxgf
The deluge of angst precipitated by the update to Omnifocus 3 has been a bit mystifying. From my perspective (as someone who has been using Omnifocus for the better part of a decade), this new and improved version has struck a rare balance between preservation of the power and flexibility that have always been the app’s hallmark and introduction of quietly sweeping changes to design and core functionality (e.g. the switch to tags, upgrades to perspective logic, etc.). Superficially, as several reviews have noted, the app shares some of its design language with version 2, but to pronounce judgment solely based on surface resemblance is to ignore seismic changes lurking beneath. Of course, there are some changes that have taken me a while to get used to with this update, just as there are features that remain on my wish list. However, as has been the case in previous years, the transparency, warmth, and clear depth of consideration with which the Omni Group have approached the beta testing process and roll-out are unparalleled. When I purchase an update like this, I’m not merely buying software: I’m buying consistent attention and constant development from a company that genuinely cares about the experience of their customers. I’m buying the certainty of updates, of feedback answered, of timely and humane support. In an app ecosystem so often characterized by the antithesis of these values, purchasing Omnifocus is a surprisingly easy decision to make.
  • Badge number won’t update

    By cdgdrummer
I like the new options for repeating tasks -this is a HUGE improvement. My number one complaint is that the badge notification doesn’t notify at a due time unless you manually open the app. Running it in the background doesn’t help. I have contacted Omni about this, but it seems nothing can be done, but I have seen other apps do this (Things for example). Additionally, I think the rolling wheel date picker is so outdated. Would much prefer a calendar date picker.
  • The new upgrade is great

    By birabiro
The new upgrade to OmniFocus3 is great. I love how it’s easy to track everything across computer, iPad, and watch. The drag and drop split screen task creation on the iPad is perfect. Would love to see this type of easy email—>task capture on all devices.
