The amount of adds is ridiculous and the price to get rid of adds is way too high. The game itself is fun, but theres just too many adds to sit through.

Good game, I play it a fair amount but I can not get over the price of premium. Who actually pays 99.99 for a year for no ads and a few gems each day??? That’s just crazy to me.
  • Mute option doesn’t work

The game is a lot of fun, and I don’t mind the ads at all. Sometimes they show me other cool games that I’ve gone on to get. What I don’t like is that the app is on mute, because I play while listening to podcasts or other stuff. I don’t like that all the ads ignore that setting, and plays loud audio. It’s really horrible when you’re playing without headphones, like in a waiting room or something, and your speaker is blaring loud obnoxious sounds and you’re getting death glares from everyone around.

  • Interesting spin on breakout; disgusting business practices

Every single level you get hit with one or sometimes two 60 second ads. Sure, after 5 seconds you can tap the skip button...and then wait another five seconds and tap the close button...and then if you pause the game, you might get another ad trying to continue the game. Constant, constant ads. And that’s not even counting the ads to buy specials or “rubies” for the game itself, or to sign up for the “diamond membership” at, get this, EIGHT DOLLARS PER DAY. I kid you not. Worse, the price is in small print while the bit red letters say “try it FREE” (free for three days and then they bill you more than a gym membership and a daily Starbucks combined). Utterly disgusting, naked greed. The game...what, there’s a game? Oh, right, I almost forgot with all of the ads. The game is actually a very interesting variation of classic breakout. The core idea is that you have bricks that take X number of hits to break (like 45, but it varies) and you have a whole bunch of balls, but no paddle. So you aim once and then tap, and the balls go out in a stream, bouncing and destroying, until all the balls come back to the bottom. The animation is accelerated as balls return so you don’t have to wait forever for the final ball. THEN, all the bricks descend one slot, and then you aim again. Like in Space Invaders, you have to destroy the bricks before they reach the bottom. Interesting idea, and hopefully someday a programmer with some taste and less money desperation will implement a clean aesthetic version. Until then, I’m deleting this app.

Confusing, but fun. The longer you play the better the format is explained.
