  • Too many ads

Way. WAY too many ads. Obnoxiously too many ads. Uninstalled after 7 levels.
  • A Rip-Off

    By JoesephT2018
I got this game awhile ago and have really enjoyed playing it. I played it so much that I paid to remove ads. Eventually I unlocked all the features, and it became rather repetitive, although I still enjoyed the Time Trial mode, which is way more difficult. Recently, however, a completely new set of planes have been added that I cannot buy with the extravagant stash of coins I amassed after unlocking the original features. This new portion of the game is actually only accessible to people who pay a monthly subscription. And - worst of all - despite the fact that I have the ad-free version, I now have ads popping up asking me to subscribe to this new portion of the game. Outrageous.
  • $3 well spent

It’s fun and totally playable without ads. Ultimate power in this game would be turning the screen sideways not an OP jet with trinkets to be billed harder than a Nextflix sub.
  • What happened?!

    By dlindman
Was a great little app, but then the monitization happened and the screen got all junked with buy this or try that (which never works cause videos are not available) short I used to play a lot and now I deleted the app.
  • Time Attack is basically Survival Mode

VIP Access is $4.99/WEEK! Is that a joke? Forgot to mention in the latest update that either the missiles are faster or the shuttle is slower. I can no longer outrun most of the missiles. This is a big step backwards. The time bonuses in Time Attack are too high. The number of missiles increases so fast that I literally cannot get the timer under 20 seconds because I’m destroying missiles and accumulating bonus seconds so fast. Apparently, more levels have been added but all they did was make the numbers bigger. You go from collecting a few coins or survive for a couple of minutes to collecting over 50 coins and surviving for almost 10 minutes. The only actual challenge is destroying missiles with flares and it is getting out of hand. I have to destroy 22 missiles with flares for level 45, that’s a lot of power ups because it is hard to get even 4 missiles behind you.
  • Great game

I can tell the AI got a big boost from last update, but it was needed... challenging from about level 35 and up.
  • Moderately fun game ruined by ads

    By arepooandasstaken
I get that ads are needed to make money, but they shouldn’t interfere with gameplay. There is now an ad that blocks the button for flares. Instead of letting them extort $2 from me, I’m just going to stop playing.
  • Fix it

I enjoy this game a lot but what’s the point in spending hours to collect coins to get a better plane that isn’t faster or better than the free . And really to get flares you gota spend coins . Money is not easy to make in this game wish the payout was a little better
  • A nice casual game for when you have free time

    By Unkn0wn_Gaming
Man Vs. Missiles is a perfect game for when you have a bit of free time and not much else to do. The basics of this game is to navigate your plane left and right to avoid the approaching missiles while also collecting power ups. The base game is quite simple starting out, but it can get very intense and exciting the longer you survive. Surviving longer also gets you more coins which can unlock new planes and upgrade your power ups. This creates a lot of replay value and it gives the player a goal to work towards. To some earning enough coins for these things may seem slow, especially for the later planes and upgrades that appear, but getting enough shouldn’t be too difficult as you work your way through the Career mode. This mode gives you a list of challenges to complete in your next run. Completing all of these challenges will raise your level which allows you to buy other planes and unlock some new modes to play. The first mode, Survival, is unlocked at level 4. This mode doesn’t start out as slowly as the Career mode and gets even more difficult as you go on. This is my favorite mode personally, not only are you faced with a challenge in a shorter time, but it’s fairly easy to get coins due to the endless barrage of faster traveling missiles. The second mode is Time Attack which is unlocked a level 7. This mode give you 60 seconds to get as much score as you can. Getting coins and destroying missiles will put more time on the clock allowing you to get a higher overall score. I haven’t play Time Attack as much as Survival, but Time Attack is still very enjoyable. One last thing to mention about this game is the developer support attached to it. The developers read a lot of the reviews and feedback provided which can make a big difference in how the game is developed in the future. Many of the past updates have been very helpful and add some content which is always welcome. This is the first Spiel Game I have played and it has left a very good impression on me. Overall Man Vs. Missiles is an amazing mobile game. The ads and coin cost for certain things may seem annoying, but the positives heavily out shine these downsides. Keep up the great work Spiel Games!
