Florence is an interactive storybook from the award-winning lead designer of Monument Valley about the heart-racing highs and heartbreaking lows of a young woman's very first love. Florence Yeoh feels a little... stuck. Her life is an endless routine of work, sleep, and spending too much time on social media. Then one day, she meets a cello player named Krish who changes everything about how she sees the world and herself. Experience every beat of Florence and Krish's relationship through a series of mini-game vignettes - from flirting to fighting, from helping each other grow... to growing apart. Drawing inspiration from 'slice of life' graphic novels and webcomics, Florence is an intimate and unforgettable story.

  • LOVE

I loved this game so much! I vote they make another game, the design was so cute and simple, and the story was amazing. 10/10.
  • Lovely but short

    By SecondHandGiants
It’s a beautiful game but too short and there’s not enough context, like really they got bored and broke up?
  • Wish there was more

    By StarAMH
This is such an adorable game the only problem was I wish there was more such as what her life might be afterwards or if she’ll ever be in another relationship
  • Beautiful

My only complaint is that I wish the “game” were longer. I include quotes because it felt much more like a real story that unfolds before your eyes. I appreciate the thought and creativity the developers put into embodying the characters’ emotions as words were never actually spoken. Phenomenal job! I look forward to reliving Florence’s story time and again as well as any future games created by the team.
  • Wow, that was a journey

    By PabsLives
I mean that both literally and in the sense that it’s as transportive of a game as Journey (the game and the band I guess, lol). It’s unrealistic for some obvious reasons, but otherwise a homerun when it comes to emoting personality that is wholly relatable. Well done Anna Purna.

  • Beautiful and Incredible

I was constantly and consistently blown away by this game. The art style is lovely, the music beautiful, and not only is it a joy to play but the game has some lovely metaphors and sentiments about love and life. This game helped me move on after a hard time in my life, by showing how sometimes, the only way to go up is by going out.
  • A Delight

    By Black Charles
Florence is very delightful. The flow of the narrative gameplay didn’t overwhelm nor underwhelm me. The gameplay matched the mood of the game. The art style was ideal for a game that moved like a Comix book. It was a perfect calming experience that told a simple, yet emotionally magical experience.
  • Fun use of materials

This is a beautiful ‘game’. The story is told in a wonderful way. I love it as a story, the game elements are simple and help it to become interactive but could work just as well as a digital comic. There’s games that are entertaining for their play and games that are interesting for the storytelling. This is the latter for me. As an art educator, this is a great example of marrying art, technology, and gaming.
  • Love this so much

Everything about this is amazing. The thoughtfulness put into the mini games was especially poignant. I really enjoyed the speech bubble puzzles and how the difficulty of the puzzle matched up to the type of conversation that Krish and Florence were having. Amazing!
