Terrible implementation to the game. Why would they make it so difficult for you to make mesos for free to play players?? The game is going in the wrong direction, I highly advise not to play this game
  • Horrendous Patch Update with Cygnus Knights

Asides from making MS mobile to be another huge cash grab for them, they really don’t care about improving the quality experience of the consumer. It’s been over a week now since the update and they haven’t balanced how underwhelming the abilities of all new classes are COMPARED to original classes. The market economy is self sustaining, meaning it’s already resulted in insane inflation so unless you’re willing to cough up the dough, you won’t get very far content wise COMPARED to most of the other players. And kudos if you find subtle tactics in Nexon’s ways to get you to spend more like the cash shop notification constantly being on even though there’s nothing left for you to do except spend more money. Or in mini dungeon where the purchase buff is conveniently right next to the directional pad so you accidentally press it a lot. TLDR; Reminiscent of old Maple, but devs don’t care about the player base and just want your money. You’ll have fun, but good luck
  • So much potential

Game is fun brings back nostalgia and caps on previous PC players that has purchasing power now but dev team seems lost. They hyped Cygnus Knights just to release them at half power of explorers, so many complaints so you’d figure they’d make some changes on the first maintenance post update, but no slap in 6h on Trade house that hinders most players ability to get meso legit. hey at least add a timer on the items so we know when to collect payment.
  • Great, but certain aspects ruin it

At face value the game is great and gives a feeling of nostalgia. But the different classes are all very unbalanced in terms of damage. It doesn’t make sense that Night Lords our damage a Bow Master with worse equips. Not to mention the new Cygnus Knights are incredibly weaker than the explorer classes. The recent updates make this game very pay to play if you want to get strong equips. The 6 hour wait for selling things in the trade market is unfair to free to play players. This dramatically slows down progress.
  • Six hours to get mesos is a giant misstep.

Six hours to collect mesos but the control pad is still trash...
  • Punishing legitimate players

With the new trade station mechanics it makes it incredibly hard for legitimate players to use the trading station. Especially moderate players who don’t grind the game as hard. 6 hours to collect payment on something is ridiculous, especially since there is not even a timer to let you know when that time period is up. Also, even though I have been playing for months, on my new character I can’t sell anything until I have logged 72 hours on it. Nexon always finds a way to screw us over, I doubt this will even help getting rid of the bot infestation or meso sellers.
  • New trade system is horrible

New 6 hr wait to collect payment from the trade system is horrible, especially since you are only given 3 trade slots (which is used up while you are waiting to collect payment). Of course this game expects you to then pay money to buy more trade slots -_-. This game is essentially impossible for the f2p casual. #pay2win
  • The new ts update is killing it for f2p

New rule for ts 6 hour wait is making it hard for f2p to make any mesos. Don’t download the game
  • Inability to combat Meso-sellers without massively affecting legitimate players

They have instated a 6 hour wait time to collect payment from any items you sell. This action is supposed to help stop Meso-sellers, but only affects legitimate players who need access to their hard-earned mesos via the trade station. It’s ludicrous that they take this action instead of doing something that will actually stop Meso-sellers, and their non-stop plethora of whispers/shouts advertising the sale of mesos. I refuse to spend another cent on this game if this change is not undone. And if more “fixes” come that hinder legitimate players, I will likely quit playing. The game is shallow and incredibly pay to win, anyway.

I’ve played this game since the start of August and it’s really fulfilling that nostalgic itch of Maplestory. Over the past few weeks I’ve noticed some pretty bad things about this game and the route the developers have been taking. First of all the new classes that were recently released are balanced horribly, they are essentially a weaker version of the current explorers. My complaint is not that they’re not more powerful than explorers but the fact that they aren’t even near even in power. Blaze wizards require you to sell an arm and a leg due to their ridiculous mp consumption. Then theres the problem with mesos sellers and how they handled the problem by creating another problem for legitimate players. By not letting players collect their money from the items they have sold we instead have to wait 6 hours to collect said money and the worse part is there isn’t even a timer to tell you when it’s ready. These are the main problems I have with the game and until things start looking brighter I won’t bother supporting them through in app purchases.
