  • Workable

    By Ed_94536
It is not well designed but it does work on my iPad and iPhone. I use AirPlay to my Apple TV 4. There is an App for the Apple TV but it consistently causes the remote to stop working. The only solution is to reboot the Apple TV. I find using the iPhone or iPad to stream content has worked better for me. Both the IOS and Apple TV versions need a lot of work. Watchlist does not work correctly. It is not always possible to delete a season. Seasons do not always show up. I end up using the IOS version to clean up the mess. Episodes watched are not always flagged as complete.
  • Content Good, App OK 👎

    By Jarber
The content from the BBC & ITV is good, browse around and you likely see some of your favorites both current and old. The app needs some work, no easy way to go forward or backward a few seconds in the player (a pretty basic feature), it doesn’t always remember were you stopped or paused if you leave the app, and no picture and picture on iPad.
  • POS App!!! Keeps kicking me out!!!

Agree with other reviewer. Great offerings but app often stops program, kicks me out repeatedly at the same spots and doesn’t remember where I’ve left off. Hire better developers!
  • App Crashes

    By Willowscape
This app worked for three days and then began crashing consistently within minutes after viewing any program on my iPad. I reinstalled the app several times and there was no improvement. Emailed for support- No response- Called customer service- No solution offered for the issue- Canceled-
  • Start watching series and after a certain season you have to pay

    By Kodee137
I think this is truly a poor way of running this. You give us access to certain shows and then you start charging for the seasons after. I am cancelling britbox. This is poorly thought through.
  • App crashes

Can’t watch anything on my iPad because app crashing every few minutes! Goes back to the beginning of the show each time! Ugh! Please fix this!
  • Programs good, app poor

    By Maglynsroku
The selection of programs is good. However, the app on my iPad is malfunctioning. Program plays fine for a few minutes then suddenly stops and the app closes. At first, I thought it was the particular program, tested it, it wasn’t. I deleted and reloaded the app. All my others apps are fine. I emailed BritBox customer service twice. No reply.
  • Going to have to cancel my subscription

    By Laurami
There is good content here, but you can’t really see it because the app crashes every couple of minutes. It worked fine for a while, which is not to say it was ever actually good. Why is it so hard for app designers to maintain a very basic level of functionality in video playback? An app should be able to remember what shows you’ve watched and where you are in a show you have not finished watching yet, saving your place. Yet for some reason, this app and the Acorn app don’t seem able to do that. There’s also no 10 seconds replay button, the sort of thing every significant streaming app has: Netflix, HBO, Hulu, etc. how hard can it be? This seems like really basic stuff, guys.
  • Crashing every few minutes.

    By TildaJean
Was fixed for a while, but it’s at it again!
  • Love the programming but....

    By APH45807
I hate the app crashes. iPad and iPhone. Everything updated but still crashes in the same places on several shows. I’m constantly checking the timer so I know where to FF to in order to resume viewing after a crash. Not every show or series but too many to count. Please please please address that issue on the next update.
