Need more money to buy things, the game doesn’t give you enough.
  • Way Too Expensive!

I also love this game. But, it isn't fun when you run out of energy so soon. And to buy resources is way more expensive than similar games. Plus, when diamonds and energy are purchased, they dwindle too fast. I should be able to earn energy with all my perfect scene clearings. Or diamonds. Or buy energy with coins. I only like the hidden object part of the game and could care less about building up the island. I'm going to have to quit playing. Can't afford it.

Update: I inadvertently said I was on level 292 when in fact I’m on level 184. So sorry for the mistake. I’ve been playing June’s Journey for many months. The graphics are superb. The story has kept me interested even when I hit a slow spot and had to keep playing what I had already mastered. But now I find that after crossing the bridge (I’m on level 292) I’m losing interest. I have no where else to place purchases and the elusive things I need to unlock and continue just aren’t available as in the past. Come on developers. I’m not the only one who has voiced this concern. You’re losing those of us who have stuck in there thinking it might change. My day will seem strange not playing, but I’m within a day or two of deleting. I’ve tried to be patient, but I think it’s time to cut the cord. And please don’t send me one of the pat answers I see on other reviews. Talk is cheap.

Beautiful graphics however, it takes too long for the energy to build up and can’t play the game long enough.

I’ve been playing this game forever.. I have no problems accumulating the necessary items.. but patience is needed. I usually play 3 x/day for 1-2 hours or so.. I am about to catch Saleem’s attacker! This is fun & relaxing.. but for the past 3 moths the crashes have been rather annoying Thanks & can’t wait for the next journey

I was determined to do this with little or no investment. Twice, I spent $4.99 when I got impatient. But now I am at level 74 and completely boxed in. I am going to go away and let it fester for awhile to see if I am offered an out, but I doubt it. Just a world to the wise.

Or so I thought! I have enjoyed playing this game tremendously. The graphics and story line have kept me engaged for months. I have like others in their reviews, been a little crazed by the amount of time it takes to renew energy and gain compasses or diamonds, but have told myself that the limitations are a good thing, as I already spend so much time playing this game! However, I am now thinking of leaving the game altogether. For the second time in two weeks the game has frozen at 39% while loading the game. The last time it took almost three days before I could log into the game and play. When I was finally able to play again, I had lost time, and flower power to a reconstruction project that completed while I was locked out. I played the game this morning and everything was working just fine. I tried to log in this evening and once again find that the game will not reload. I am stuck at 39% loading. I am really frustrated by this. I am at level 129 (I think) and have invested considerable time in this game. Although I have taken a lot of pleasure in the hours of free play, and I was looking forward to the current seasonal set and completion of this particular set, I no longer want to invest any more time being frustrated by this failure to log in. This problem began after the last update, and it happening more than once in such a short period of time has caused me to lose faith that it was a temporary glitch. After reading the other reviews both positive and negative, I have decided that my time is better spent pursuing other passions, ie: reading and watching TV. Or hey! Getting a life outside of the computer altogether! What a concept!! By the way- when asked to rate this game at the end of my review, I only gave it 3 stars...up until now, I felt it was a 5 star program! The graphics and story line have been top notch. My only frustration prior to now was the fact that in the hidden object scenes the programmers were not consistent with how they named certain recurring objects. Although I felt at times, like they were cheating by this inconsistency, I choose to look at it as another challenge and a curiosity perhaps due to a difference in languages of various programmers. A quirk that added to the mystery of the game. I will miss this game. I’m glad I played it, I was looking forward to finishing the lighthouse and gaining the boats in the water, but hey, I guess the game is telling me it is time to move on if it wont let me play. So, it took four days to hear from the developers in response to what I originally wrote. By that time, I had been able to get back in the game. (I really wanted to finish the seasonal set and get the Cheetah and his water fountain) which I have now accomplished. Like another reviewer, I had a hard time figuring out how to correct the problem as the page I was directed to, to fix the problem was not helpful and it took me a long time of searching to figure out how to get the help I needed. I am still guessing at this point that the problem is which browser I am using to open the game. I have changed browsers, but I still got locked out of the game this morning. I had to go to the app in the new browser and open from there. Clearly my computer skills are not up to fixing this problem without taking extra steps in opening the game. I am bummed that it is so much trouble all of the sudden to enjoy this game, because, let’s be clear, I do highly enjoy this game. I am addicted and have not quit playing as I said I would last week. Yet I still think my end is near. I am curious to see what comes next, and I have taken hours of pleasure in designing my island to my satisfaction, and I take pride in my design. I do wish I could place the gifted flowers I get from the other players to new locations, some of them like the new flower with this seasonal set would be great to keep instead of gaining the diamonds, but alas, they are not movable. I am also frustrated that the number of compasses to gain access to the other side of the island has increased considerably without being able to acquire them naturally through the game. My guess, this is to encourage me to spend money on the game. I get that, I really do, especially considering how much time and effort it must take on their part to put this game together and having done such a great job, they deserve to get paid. I feel like that the amount of time I spend watching advertisements in order to play is my payment. Sorry guys, but that’s my reality. I cant afford to play and pay. Thank you for your beautiful imagination and ingenious game. For the hours of entertainment. You have no idea how having your game to play has positively impacted my life, Thank you!
