Just beyond the horizon sits a majestic desert, vast and unexplored. Join Alto and his friends and set off on an endless sandboarding journey to discover its secrets. Soar above windswept dunes, traverse thrilling canyons, and explore long-hidden temples in a fantastical place far from home. Along the way, you’ll grind across vines, bounce atop hot air balloons, ride towering rock walls, and escape mischievous lemurs – all while uncovering the desert’s many mysteries. Features: • A standalone experience. Alto’s Odyssey is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Alto’s Adventure, but you don’t need to have played one to enjoy the other. • Easy to learn, difficult to master. At the heart of the Alto series is an elegant one-touch trick system. Chain together combos, and complete 180 goals — all with intuitive controls. • Explore Biomes. From the dunes, to the canyons, to the temples, explore a rich and diverse landscape, with each area boasting unique visuals and gameplay. • Newfound heights. Discover secrets in the sky with hot-air balloons, moving grind rails, and wall riding. • Master the elements. In addition to dynamic lighting and weather effects like sandstorms and shooting stars, the desert is home to swirling wind vortexes and rushing water. • Meet Alto and friends. Unlock six unique characters, each with their own attributes and abilities. • Zen Mode. Complete with its own serene soundtrack, this relaxing mode distills Odyssey down to its purest elements: no scores, no coins, and no power-ups. Just you and the endless desert. • Photo Mode. From the pause screen, get behind the lens and take stunning photos of your trip through the desert. Pinch, swipe, pan and zoom to frame the ideal shot, and share them with friends and family. • Original music and handcrafted audio. Headphones recommended! • Universal app with iCloud support. Play on your iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, and your progress will always be in sync. Alto’s Odyssey is a premium game with no ads or in-app purchases. Purchase once, play forever.

  • Super meh.

I thought this game was going to be exciting and changing from other reviews. Literally all you can do in this game is jump. It’s basically a paid version of flappy birds. I don’t get why this is rated so well.

I loved altos adventure to the point of playing the game for days after I was finished with it. I was hoping for a new experience with altos odyssey but it’s basically a copy and paste of the original with the only difference being new ‘biomes’. I can justify paying this amount of money for altos adventure as it was a brand new game developed from scratch, but this is literally the same as the previous one! Same characters, same items, same physics. On top of that odyssey has a lot of bugs. Even the music was better on the first version of the game. Overall disappointed.
  • Alright Game

I love the game, it's calm, relaxing, and fun to play, but eventually the challenges start to become tedious and annoying. They get very specific and it takes more and more time to advance until you've worn yourself down with the challenges. It's a great game if you're not looking to advance too far and unlock too many things. Edit: I hate this game but I can't stop playing it.
  • Don't download if you want to keep your sanity

I broke both my iPad Pro and my iPhone X playing this game. Don't download it.
  • This is beautiful

At first, I didn’t think that the Snowman Team could do any better when I saw Alto’s Adventure. As soon as I started playing this game, I knew I was wrong. The fluid animations, simple yet stunning art, and immersive music all bring me to say that this game is worth every penny of the five dollars it costs, and will have you playing it for hours on end.
  • Game is too dark

The nighttime mode is very badly designed. You can’t tell the difference between rocks and scenery most of the time. This makes the game unenjoyable for me. I loved altos adventure but this game is only one star for me.
  • Absolutely the most amazing game on Earth

To start this review off, I would like to say thank you thank you thank you to the developers of this game for making such a high quality, amazing game. Anyways, The graphics are so good, and it’s the most calm, phenomenal app I have ever installed in my life. I love the Zen mode where if you make a mistake, it just revives you and you can keep going. I do not regret buying this at all and I recommend it to anyone who loves a good calm game <3 - PuppyLover345
  • Not overwhelmed

I don’t quite understand all the fuss. It is pretty, but the gameplay isn’t very enjoyable to me. One crash and you restart at the beginning every time. It’s hard not to crash because you get no warning that there is an obstacle coming up, unlike other endless runners like Temple Run. I wish the whole game was like the tutorial - where you automatically restart right where you were after every crash. It would be like starting again - distance would reset - but I wouldn’t have to click through several menus to just continue playing.
  • Got too hard. Bummer

Loved this game but Level 60 goals are unattainable. 350,000 points?! Whatever. What a way to end...I’m out. Thanks guys.
