Automatically track your sleep from your Apple Watch*. No buttons to press. Even the Watch app is optional! Just sleep! About AutoSleep ----------------- Using Advanced Heuristics AutoSleep works out how long you've slept so you don't have to. If you DO wear your Watch to bed, you don't need to do a single thing. AutoSleep will track your sleep & quality and send you a notification in the morning once you unlock your iPhone. Even if you don't wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep can track your time in bed. It's extremely simple. If you DON'T wear your Watch to bed, then simply put your Watch on charge just before you go to sleep. As soon as you touch your iPhone or put your Watch back on in the morning then AutoSleep will know that you have finished sleeping. A handy Today Widget lets you see how your own "batteries" are charged for last night and the previous seven days. A second (entirely optional) widget lets you also track the time you have taken to fall asleep. As everyone is a little bit different. AutoSleep provides a simple setup wizard and an option to tweak if you are a very restless sleeper. If you wear your Apple Watch to bed*, AutoSleep will also analyse your sleep quality. By using time asleep, restlessness, time awake and heart rate it can score the quality of your sleep and provide you with a comprehensive nightly analysis. *Note. If you do not wear your Watch to bed, AutoSleep simply captures the amount of time sleeping. AutoSleep also works with HeartWatch our premier heart & activity monitoring app and writes your Sleep information to Apple Health. *Requires Apple Watch running Watch OS 3.2 or higher. WatchOS 4.2 recommended.

  • Exactly what I wanted

This app works so well at knowing when I’m off to sleep and I’m happy with the feedback it provides. I can get a summary from my watch and details on my phone. I sleep all hours of day and night depending on work and it never has a problem. I would recommend this for sure!
  • Best sleep app—-bar none!

Tried several and this one is THE best. Works seamlessly with Apple Watch and will work without. Info is great and auto loads to health app. Don’t hesitate. Apple need to buy this app and make it native to he ecosystem!!!
  • Really good tracking

I really love this app, it’s very helpful with tracking sleep. The best part though, is the fact that it’s automatic! You don’t have to be setting start times, off times, etc. Totally worth more than what I spent!
  • Really should only be 4.5 star

It tracked my deep sleep accurately during my sleep study at the Sleep Lab!! My occasional morning headaches mystery is solved. They correlate well with less than 2 hour of deep sleep, not the amount of time in bed. One issue: my exercise icon on the watch was somehow activated during my sleep last night (The only problem since I used the app since X’mas). Apparently I rode my stationary bike half the night instead.
  • Great App!

I love this app. I had a Fitbit and an Apple Watch 2. For Christmas I got the Apple Watch 3 and my Fitbit broke. I was not to happy buying the Sleep and Heart App but it is worth it. One night I forgot to sleep with the watch and the app figured out how much time I slept and it was close. Great App!

I enjoy the app, seems to be spot on detailing how I slept which is actually beneficial when trying to repeat good practices for improving sleep.
  • Awesome

This is a great app. I have restless legs and the data I get is very helpful in my treatment! I love that I don't have to remember to start the app before I go to sleep. Thanks
  • I don’t nap

And yet it routinely says I’m asleep multiple times throughout the day. I need a way to tell this app that I’m only asleep at night.
  • Great to track sleep habits

Very helpful especially if you are uncertain about your sleep time and/ quality
  • Finally! An app that catches Up!

This is not rocket surgery. The watch has always had an accelerometer, but automatically tracking sleep has eluded app developers all this time, even though Jawbone Up has done this for years with much much cheaper hardware to work with. This app tracks sleep automatically. A no-brainer, really. It's absurd to have to touch go and stop buttons to track sleep, but that's what all the other apps require. Feature request: Now if only the developers will add a smart alarm that vibrates the watch *after* a deep REM cycle within a user-defined time frame. (The exceptional feature of the Up.)
