The app works ok if you never need any help. Seeing as it is marketed to learn the violin I would think most users need help. The part about a live teacher is a joke. I wrote in for help and still have no response a week later! That is a lot of wasted practice time. Then I cancelled the day before I was suppose to be charged. However, an hour after that I was charged the full year price! I went through my settings and cancelled there also and sent them a message. Still charge and still no response!

iPad Pro, iOS 11.4.1. Been great so far. Updated to Trala 2.7.2 yesterday and while the screen rotation feels weird for completed lessons, my current lesson keeps telling me to rotate the screen whether I have it in landscape or portrait and will not let me start the lesson.

I absolutely love this app!! You can tune and learn to play all in one place. Which is awesome for me a complete beginner at 32... I do wish that on the practices you could slow or speed up or even add a few extra notes so that you could really get the hang of learning to use different strings. I’m getting very hung up here because I feel like it switches too fast for me. Secondly I wish that the endless practice mode was an optional lesson button for each lesson instead of reaching it after Dooley practice only. Otherwise very pleased. So worth the money!!

I just started learning the violin - it’s a lot of fun with this app. It’s my source of confidence in learning, and I would not want to play my violin without it!!
  • Makes it happen!

This app makes it much easier for me to practice. Now that I can actually hear what I’m about to play all the time and get live feedback, I see myself improving much faster than my friends in orchestra. The daily reminders also help me stay dedicated. I told all my violin friends to download this app

I wanted to play violin my whole life but I could never afford the time for lessons. When I saw Trala, I went online and bought a cheap violin and i'm SO HAPPY with the app! I started from knowing nothing but I'm making steady progress and I can already play a few songs. The exercises give me feedback on what mistakes I'm making and they're really easy to understand. I can't imagine learning violin without Trala tbh because I'd never know if I was playing right or wrong. I would HIGHLY recommend Trala to anyone who wants to learn violin.

WAY to expensive. I’m not gonna pay 15 a month just to learn to play violin. Maybe u should just let people do it for free and people who want all access can pay for premium or something
  • The best violin app ever

I’ve played the violin for 25+ years and I wished I had this app when I was starting our (no offense Ms. Kopmar - I love you!). Even still, I find it a great tool to today to practice along with. Highly recommended, especially if you want to learn or remember how to play the violin.
